Not so many votes today. :(

Total Votes - 69 - 3 votes from the record :D

DAs - 27
M-Ls - 24
NCs - 11
A-Ks - 4 (Kadon predicted that they would get less than 5 votes - why is he always right  )
Lux - 3 (oh how the mighty have fallen)

So, it's still very tight at the top. Voting closes at 5 PM on Friday so we've got almost two entire voting days to go. I'm feeling pretty good about the prospect of once again setting a record turnout. Mabye by the end of the AAR we will reach 100 voters. :D

Democratic Anarchists

It is time for a People's Constitution to permanently enshrine the democracy and the Revolutionary principles of VSVR!

Definitely doesn't bode well. Neither faction (Anarchists and Marxists) have a majority, even if you add in their coalitions. Democratic Anarchists are close, having 45.8% with the Kadonists added in. Closer than Trotsky's 38.9%, with a Luxemburgist coalition, at least. The National Communists are taking up too much of the vote, 15.3%! I wonder if this will mean civil war...

I wonder if it means that people will accept that this nation desperately need syndicalism!

Yes, because having the unions in control worked so well for us last time.

Yes, I remember how our problems magically disappeared by abolishing the unions. We've had how many economic crises since?

The unions were a scapegoat for the failures of our so called leaders.

The unions were a focus of cleptocracy and corruption. A lot of problems dissapeared with their disbanding.

The people decide the makeup of the assembly, not the party. This is simply for the chairman.

Ah, that mythical corruption. The corruption that was "purged" yet the typical worker earned no more money and the states finances headed deep into the red.

I am for Syndicalism, but at least I can recognize that the unions were corrupt. If we reorganize the union's, however, it can mean a more perfect democracy and the best path to communism. I almost voted for the Naci's, but their "national liberation" was just so dangerous to socialism that I would sacrifice the economy to prevent it.

The most interesting is that the Democratic Anarchists don't tend to do well in the People's vote, which means they'll be desperate to find allies in the Assembly.

Read the election post again. Specifically, the bit in bold.
