Although there are only two DH AAR's I'm following at the moment, I'm still casting my ballot. You should do so too! Only three days left!

Loyal We Began by Tanzhang
Vive l'Empereur by Antonine

A tough game between all the AAR's I've been following, for sure!
EDITED the last vote to something valid.

The last one, as it was updated first in April, is not eligible for Q1. It will be next quarter, though!

As even in far off Russia, we are into 1 June, it is time to announce the winners of the best Darkest Hour AARs for the 1st quarter of 2014! I continue to be impressed by how well represented Darkest Hour is in AARland; good show, and keep up the great work!

We had a two way tie for fourth place: Tommy4ever's Westminster System and Lucifer's Achtung Panzer II. Each of these AARs received seven votes.

We also had a two way tie for third place -- in any other category, these would have tied for first! Tanzhang's Loyal We Began, Loyal We Remain (a worthy showing for the Best WritAAR of 2013!) and Antonine's Vive l'Empereur each received eight votes.

Not tied with anybody for second place is Kaiser_Mobius, with Dual Monarchy at War and 9 votes to call his own! (Possibly 4.5 for Austria and 4.5 for Hungary.)

But the finest Darkest Hour AAR for 2014 (and a special thank you to ARC1997 for breaking yet another tie) is Teivel's One and Indivisible, with 10 votes, two more than any other AAR received in the entirety of the Q1 2014 ACAs!

Congratulations to all of the winners, and be sure to read (and comment!) on their terrific AARs! I'll see everybody again in July for the Q2 AwAARds! Don't miss 'em!

Congratulations to all the winners – especially Teivel. I'll have to read my way through these AARs at some point!

Congratulations to the winAAR's! One and Indivisible is quite a fine AAR, it likely would have made my list if only I caught up on it, special congratulations Teivel! I suppose this gives me reason to make it my next AAR to read :p

Congrats to everyone, especially those really impressive AARs that didn't make the final count but secured (well deserved) votes none the less. And thank you everyone for continuing to give one and indivisible a chance. It's a labour of love that I know can be hard to slog through in its entirety, especially as when I wrote the first bits I was far less comfortable was a writer. I hope that more people give it a read as a result of this and chime in on the thread.

I'd also like to say it's good to see KR so well represented, I feel it really keeps the life in the DH community. It's a strange universe that sometimes takes effort to rationalize...but it's a compelling one and i'm glad so many of us use it as a setting (and that so many people chose to read it!) :D
