Yeah, I appreciate that the war might have something to do with things. But there are more Jingos that there have ever been since I introduced POP voting.

To avoid Trotsky getting like 60% of seats I decreased the value of Jingos and pro-mils who made up just under 50% of all POPs.

Any answer on how the proposed constitutions will be drafted? In other words, if I vote for a constitution-favouring faction, will that faction dictate the constitution?

Hmm, this is a hard one. I acctually don't think Trotsky is the right choice right now, since we need a time of peace and stability after the war. I do support a new, more unified Comintern, since the dissolution of nations are a very important issue to me. But I just can't vote for the Bourgeois traitors of the Democratic Anarchists. I like what Makhno says, but I disagree with his view on Comintern. The only way to dissolve the State, is to dissolve all States at once. Drexler is too caught up in the notion of nations, which makes him a dangerous reactionary, which is sad, since I had high hopes for him.

I will regretfully vote Democratic Anarchist, not because I agree with them, but because I don't think we should have another war in the next 5 years.

Comrades, I ask you all to vote for Democratic Anarchists, unless you happen to be in the Trotskyite camp.
Your votes choose the next Chairman, and none of us want Trotsky to win.
I beg you to join our united front against that eastern ogre that feeds upon the blood of innocents!

Every vote that is not for us, is one step closer to Trotsky getting more power. So choose wisely.

That's a good one. I demand a political reform to change to "Secret Ballots".

Before anyone starts suggesting a secret vote, they should first suggest a practical way that such a system could be achieved without decentralising the AAR to the point it no longer becomes an AAR.

Oh, and Marxist-Leninists

Hmm, I'm disappointed Trotsky still aim for war. I liked most of the Leninist platform, but I honestly don't think we can fight another war so soon. That's why I voted on the traitors. I hope the economy will recover so we can vote the Leninist back in office in 5 years and take on Britain!!

Trotsky doesn't aim for war. He sees that it isn't feasible to take on Britain, Japan, the US and China. Instead, he advocates supporting the proletarians of those countries to rise up, and help that along by destroying the bourgeois states economically. If you agree with everything the Marxists stand for, but don't wish for war, then still vote Marxist-Leninist!

Also with supporting them with the "Free Proletarians", so I (I even though I'm dead) would interpret that as a proletarian revolution would be supported by VSVR troops, which means a declaration of war.

ZZZzzZzZzzZzZz....

You anarchist just dont have the guts to what needs to be done in order to accomplish the World Socialist State.

Here is an informal tally of the vote so far until Tommy puts up a more official one:

Democratic Anarchists: 14
Marxist-Leninists: 12
National Communists: 8
Anarcho-Kadonists: 2
Luxemburgists: 1

I'll hold off voting for now, NatCom's are my first choice but if the M-L look set for victory I'll take DA's.

I counted 11 National Communist votes.

Now 12.

That's a good one. I demand a political reform to change to "Secret Ballots".
I agree. That might be the reason why Tommy hasn't done a poll yet. But this "I'll vote for the one that's winning" or "I'll try to stop them from winning" mentality is messing up the AAR. If people were forced to make their own decision, you'd see a lot more votes for the Luxemburgists and Kadonists here.

Democratic Anarchists

Would normally vote for the Luxemburgists but I believe that the assembly should hold real power, and therefore it becomes the most important issue for me.

First Kadon, and now Necazian has risen from the dead!
I think I'm gonna grab a shotgun and barricade myself somewhere safe.

On another note: if the anarcho-kadonists would win, how would their dismantling of the state be represented in-game?
No, elections and military or something else entirely [insert dramatic music]?

Well this is unfeasable for the AAR. So we can't do this.

I agree that the voting system is flawed. I wish there was a better way but after an experiment in 2nd pref proved to me that OMOV is better I don't see an alternative.

On a side note .... Poll Time!

Total Votes -

DAs - 21
M-Ls - 19
NCs - 10
Lux - 2
A-Ks - 2

How about we simply have 2 rounds?

Seeing as there doesn't seem to be anyway to get any clarity on how the proposed constitution will be worded, I'll have to vote marxist-leninist.

so close. One vote behind the DA's. Typical case of so near yet so far :D
