I hadn't noticed this part of their agenda until I read your post! With apologies to Tommy, I wish to change my vote. Instead of voting first preference Anarchist, second preference Luxemburgist, I would like to vote:

1) Democrat
2) Luxemburgist

Poor democrats need at least one vote!
 
Somewhat off-topic, in terms of the elections, but how exactly did you get Fascists to appear before 1905 Tommy? I want to mod my game so that I don't have to wait until 1905 to get Fascists.
 
@ Keynes: made your change - that probably kills off Goldman's hopes of the Chairmanship. I'll tell you here and now the Anarchists haven't done even remotely as well as this in the Assembly so this is a pretty big blow for them.

well as you might have seen the fascists didn't work quite as well as the socialists and commies (who I enabled in time for game start) as I tried to enable them in 1860 (they appeared like ten years later or something).

I went into the common > ideologies folder and changed the start date for the ideology to 1860 (if you want them straight away change it to 1830 or something).

You also need to go into the file called IdeologyEnabling (I keep most of the files I changed in one folder so I forgot which folder this file came from - I think events). Anyway, change the fire date for the event to 1836, 1860 or w/e.

Then go into the country you wish to play as' common folder and either create a new fascist party that is activated at the date you want or change the activation date.

The political parties are pretty much the easiest thing to mod in V2. :D

I just don't understand why the anarchists and Lenin are so popular when all of their failings in government have been corrected by the current and marvellous Luxemburgite-Democrat Government O_O

The Anarchists never had a chance to rule. The one time they got into power they were locked into a damaging coalition with the Independents who dominated Kropotkin's policies, and then got locked into a death struggle with the Independent empowered unions, and finally squashed undemocratically by Lenin. That is hardly a measure of their potential for success. Goldman is the only candidate in this election with the proper, truly Communist solution to our economic woes. Let her rule hand in hand with Rosa! Together they will lead our Republic forward to greatness!

People are cynical, they see good things and pick at the minor (sometimes major) Problems with the ruling party.

(Also this whole "Goldman" stuff reminds me of 1984)

My 50 cents on how the election results will go: Rosa will win the chairmanship, but since Bernstein does badly, and I doubt the Worker's vote will favor the Democrats that much she'll dump them and start negotiating with other factions. Anyone of them might ally with her, depending on how the Worker's vote goes, since she's pretty much the least hated politician in the Republic.

Hmm, I thought the agenda of some party was to conquer more farmers...
And then bring them the blessings of living in a communist state...

So far we have been experiencing a so-called revolution of the liberal bourgeoisie, after that came revolution of nationalism followed by our proletarianism and Marxism-Leninism.
The farmers, half of our population, have always been cast aside.

The rural 'bourgeoisie', 'enemies of the proletariat'; they are the foundation of our very existence.

Do not bite the hand that feeds.

Vote for freedom and for equality, vote Anarchist!
