Gaining Utica was very handy. As for your next moves, I agree with JDMS, get stuck into Rome!
The Utica manpower boost seems very helpful.
Are Masillia still allied with Rome? Even if they are they seem like the next natural target for Carthage. After all, they are blocking valuable trade routes into Gaul.
The people of Theveste long for Carthaginian rule! Let`s make their dream come true.
Utica was a really nice gain given your manpower constraints ... as with Alfredian, are you tempted to clean up NW Spain/SW France before war with Rome or are they just distractions and more delays as you recover from the war?
I finally started paying attention to this today. Excellent AAR, makes me want to dust off my own, rarely-used copy of Rome.
Looking forward to the next confrontation with the Romans!
Very nice to gain the manpower boost in such a limited war.
You're not the only one, this AAR had the same effect on me when it first started, and I actually did it as well.
Great work. I'm going to go against the common opinion here. I think you should ignore Massilia and Spain and focus on Rome. A green Italy sounds good.
Subbed, great read!

strange war with Rome - seems as if the rebellion in Spain and the threat from the Populists rather undermined your focus? Still you now have land in Italy proper, and its probably no bad thing that Egypt is able to stand up to the Seleucids but is essentially focussed on the Eastern Med.
From the final map, why is Armenia such a mess? Sort of looks ok to me.
Nice! Do you have any plans to unify Africa? Are these mostly low-value provinces?
Nice, an eventful update for sure. The tables are turned, now you have the foothold.
It's funny how civil war rebels always end up with huge amounts of land to start with even when they have practically no support.
If I read it right, even though the Romans started at a manpower disadvantage, they still managed to scrape together enough to make your life difficult. The rebellion and the unruly populists probably didn't help. Still, you clearly won and gained a province. And you crushed a civil war as an afterthought, so that's all good.
What were your goals going into the war? Were you hoping for more sweeping gains, or did this pretty much fit your purpose?
Good to see the constant chipping away at Rome continues well. I do think it is about time poor Agbal Eugorid quits as admiral, once again he gets no popularity for a solid victory! I've no idea what caused Rome's manpower shortage but hopefully it can continue for some time yet. Hopefully too the Seleucids and Egyptians carry on squabbling amongst each other, weakening themselves for when you finally strike at them too.
You have gained a toehold on the Italian boot. Well worth doing if only for the punning potential.
I don't know if and how your mod affects combat mechanism, but I am way more voracious in war and peace deals than you are! Still, keep up the good work, it's better to expand slowly but steadily than not expand at all!
The Lusitani seem to be a bigger threat than the Romans now...
