Hate to see conversation pulled into private servers with very poor archiving and search features. I don't think they're trying to supplant the forum, but it sucks really hard when that happens, and it's happened to some communities I'm in. No desire to have a main forum post or anything, just cloistered away in a discord.

And what is the supposed advantage of this "discord"? Less user comfort to loose even more support? Less user concentration to have even less player-helping-players? Less dev talk to make the users even more frustrated?

Not really a fan of 'official' discords myself (its just vastly inferior to forums in every way imo), but cool.
