Ah, I hadn’t really twigged to I:R now being lumped into the Other category - way too crowded; HOI3/2/DH etc should be it’s own category.Well. Well, well, well. We have SIX votes for what belongs in the Other category... I will give you to tomorrow to chose which to include @Bullfilter .
Too much comparing apples and Oranges!I’m sorry, but I must stick with my four ‘Others’ (HOI3) picks as laid out. The I:R ones are both worthy, but the HOI3 pieces are the ones I’m most involved with.

All right, ladies, gentemen and everyone in between!
Welcome to the reveal of the final results of the Q2 2021 ACAs!
First out is Europa Universalis IV, where eight AARs were nominated. First place this time is shared by @coz1 and @RossN , with coz1 also taking the second spot. Third place is shared between @JerseyGiants88 and @ibicko .
Then comes the old and venerated Crusader Kings II, always full of nominees - and thus competition! Only the best persevere. This time @RustyHunter narrowly takes the top spot, with oldtimer with their AAR @Eurasia takes second, together with @Midnite Duke . After this shared second place we have no less than FOUR third places, shared between @Dunaden , @LPDK 356 , @Flinteroon and the venerable @El Pip .
NewcomAAR to the scene, Crusader Kings 3, also got a lot of votes this time around, albeit there is some work to be done before it overtakes it's predecessor. I am sure this would be helped a lot if people could actually find the AAR section in AARland and not it being cut off, but I digress. First place was a pleasant surprise for me, for while I have certainly got a few votes before on my AARs, I believe this is the first time I've come out on top. Yes, I - Nikolai - got the first place. Hooray for me. Second place was shared SIXWAYS between @Peter Ebbesen , @filcat , @Gamov_Andrew , @alscon , @Revan86 and @tubplunger . Third place was shared between @Dunaden and @Cora Giantkiller .
The old lady, soon to be followed by a new beauty (one hopes!), Victoria II, saw nine AARs voted on, with a shared first place between @DensleyBlair and @BigBadBob . Second place went to @volksmarschall , with third place going to @slothinator .
Hearts of Iron IV saw a few votes, but not very spread, with the winnAAR getting 7 points, the two last ones getting 1 each, and a total of AARs voted on were merely six. First place went to @TheButterflyComposer , followed by @Le Jones and then @RedTemplar .
Spacefarers venturing into the Stellaris section nominated eight AARs, with @Cora Giantkiller taking first place and @Chilango2 getting second place this time around. Third place went to @JackGoose .
The Other section saw thirteen AARs voted on, with the four least voted on getting one vote each, and the four above that two votes each. Still a great accomplishment! The winnAAR was @Eurasia this time around, followed by @Bullfilter on second. Third place was shared between @RustyHunter , @Tommy4ever and @Wraith11B .

Thank you to our readers for taking the time to read and comment. Thank you to our writers for devoting many hours of preparation and writing to give us entertainment. (I am sure that my second place trophy has nothing to do with the fact that the law/accounting firm Dewey, Cheatem & Howe helped tabulate and certify the ballots. ) The real winners are the readers who get to enjoy these great works.

The gentleman is quite correct. Promotional material and CK3 dev updates only in the run up to an actual 2nd campaign.While the thread has been quite active lately, I can't see any actual updates yet.
It certainly bodes well for Ged come the next awards.Ok, fair enough - TBC still gets one of my votes, so all good!
Indeed! Bravo, for you were I believe also the first ck3 aar writer and should thus be honoured regardless.
Now this is a surprise, especially as it may be my least reader commented aar ever. Apparently people are indeed reading it, and are too stunned by Paradox/the Cheese to say much about it!
However, I must thank everyone for voting and participating, especially as I am as usual resoundingly unpunctionable and late to this vote.
It is good to see CK3 hanging in there, and even expanding in category and popularity, despite its restriction off from everyone else. Hopefully this will continue as the game celebrates its first year of life and more updates to come. If even El Pip is playing Crusader Kings now, surely the time is ripe for more crazy ideas to flow

And congratulations to all that gained nomination for their incredible work! I apologize for not nominating for this last round, but I've not done near enough reading to make a credible ballot. However, despite the official tally giving us a draw and FAWHA a third top finish, the win belongs, well-deservedly, to @DensleyBlair and Echoes. Had I managed to get my ballot in, Echoes would absolutely have been on it.

This is the time to come with suggestions on changes in categories for next time btw. Making I:R not a part of Other is out of the question with the current activity I think, HoI3 borders on okay, but I think it might be too little for much competition. My vote is on leaving the categories like this time for the next vote. We then have one less category than before, which will be filled by Vicky 3 when it comes out I am sure.
