Q1 2024 ACAs

Happy Easter folks, we're midway into the silent week and for those who celebrate - I wish a hearty and good celebration!

Now, even during Easter we cannot rest on our laurels, it is time to celebrate the writAARs and AARs of AARland that has been active the last three months!

Yes, it is now time for the Q1 2024 ACAs! For the new here, that is AARland Choice Awards!

The ACAs are as before hosted under the supervision of me, your friendly AAR fan Nikolai.

This time around you can vote for any AAR that had an update between January 1st, 2024 and March 31st,, 2024 (inclusive). In other words, this ACA will cover Q1 2024.

Voting will start now and end in five and a half weeks, at 20.00 CEST Sunday May 5th, 2024.

NB! Due to lack of active AARs, Victoria II and Victoria 3 is now ONE category.

You may nominate up to four AARs for each of the following games:

Crusader Kings II
Crusader Kings III
Europa Universalis IV
Victoria II and 3
Hearts of Iron IV
Stellaris

and up to four additional games in the "Other" category, which includes all other Paradox games not mentioned above.

Kindly use the following format:

...and turns out it is not that difficult. Just a little time, but not too much. I cannot say that I have read all of these works cover to cover, but I am certainly aware of them and have read many parts enough to suggest that they should be rewarded for the work done these last three months. And YES...unlike some others, I looked. These all qualify! Check, folks! Check. If for no other reason, @Nikolai's sanity when tabulating.

I recognize...WE recognize...that not everyone has the time or wherewithal to read everything written at this great place on the internets. Yet when @Nikolai runs these, when I run the YAYAs, when @DensleyBlair runs the Guess the Author, when @Lord Durham pushes interest in the SolAARium...on and on...it only works when YOU get involved. As can be seen above, there is no lack of talent. So...fill out a FULL ballot if you can. You know what that does? It lets a writAAR know that you have recognized them. Not always, but sometimes, that may push them to check something else out and get involved. Also...they feel appreciated. Their work...blood, sweat and tears... their time has been rewarded by yours recognizing them.

I promise you that it does not take that much time and YOU will be rewarded by looking at all of these amazing works. A once wise man said...comments are the currency of this place. THIS is a form of comment. If you want more of your own, then give.

A great slate for this quarter and thank you again @Nikolai for running yet another round! Well done all!!

Point of order, though, to try to save some of @Nikolai's sanity, there is a separate category for Victoria 2 and 3 and your vote for A Throne of Blood and Iron should properly go there instead of in "Other".
