Hello, and welcome to the revised revised AARland Choice AwAARds! Please read. . . well, maybe a little carefully, because there has been one change to the way this is being conducted, based on the feedback received from AARland and the instructions beamed to me from on high.
My apologies for the tardy start, but I'm a bit tardy, hur hur. Also, I decided to wait to kick it off until after the fourth of July weekend, because that's how much I love American independence.
. . .the change! (less ominous music than last time)
1. An AAR can win twice before it's out of the running for the rest of the year. That way, we get between two and four unique winners for each of the four categories per year.
As per before - and this is easier because I haven't updated any AARs in three months, gotcha, you jerks! - anything I may have written is off-limits. But remember this: any AAR updated at any time during 2009 is still eligible, including ones that won only once so far. Post away, and don't forget that you can PM your ballots to be privately if you want some anonymity. I cleaned out my stuffed inbox, just for you. <3
And Rome is still waiting for the governor to call. I'm just sayin'.
Without further ado, the sample ballot:
