Wow, I think I owe the forums an apology. I promised a handoff on Saturday and the Universe took that personally. My job threw everything it could at me and I had to make some calls about how and where to spend my time. The good news is that I've finally got a good hold on the chaos, so I could come back to the forums.

My apologies for the absence.

Now to nominate a new WritAAR of the Week.

I love it when writers find ways to make their AAR stand out from the pack, be it with unique use of screenshots or image editing, or a framing device aside from the very common historybook format.

My successor is being nominated for the latter point: framing their AAR in a way that is highly uncommon for the Stellaris AAR forums. Galactic Pacification for Dummies may as well be the spiritual sequel to World Conquest for Dummies. @Peter Ebbesen has re-deployed the student-hating professor to make a highly informative AAR easier to read, and with Stellaris version 3.12 on the horizon, this 'teaching AAR' is a very welcome addition to Stellaris AARland.

For creating a truly useful teaching AAR and deploying the one professor we would all listen to, I nominate @Peter Ebbesen for the next WritAAR of the Week!

Congratulations!

EDIT: As amusing as it is to realize that not only did I congratulate myself accidentally earlier today, but that my self-congratulatory post has received two agrees and a like, I intended to post it in the other thread recently honouring Galactic Pacification for Dummies, to congratulate @Macavity116 for the new weekly AAR showcase. There is a limit to my self-absorption. :D

I was wondering, Peter. Thank you for the clarification. ;)

And no doubt you have earned this one...your 5th! Well done and congratulations.

I will be watching your career with great interest! Also I’m new, and an aspiring AAR writer. I’ll be checking it out and taking some notes.

Thanks everybody.

I'll once again have to pass up on making a nomination as I've been too busy with RL and writing to read any AARs, so the nomination is open on a first-come, first-served basis.

Thanks to @Peter Ebbesen (and his Professor) for this opportunity to nominate someone.

I'd like to nominate someone who is posting an AAR for the first time and who would be a first-time winner of this award. Plus a new post went up recently (as I like to nominate folks who have posted in the past week or so for this award).

So please say congratulations to @High Speed Flying Gladius and the AAR The Red Heart of Europe, from the CK3 sub-forum.

P.S.: Welcome @SwoleJohll to the Forum.

An excellent choice. I would never have guessed it was a first time AAR had our winner not mentioned it. Congratulations indeed @High Speed Flying Gladius

Congratulations on your award, @High Speed Flying Gladius! It is nice to be drinking burgundy instead of sipping champagne.
Congratulations @High Speed Flying Gladius!

Oh! Im honored!

Thank you all for this. I know I'm repeating myself, but, again, the support and praise I have received have been immensely motivating.

Im not exactly sure what to do now. I should peruse the AARs forums, see if there's anything that really catches my eye, and by seven days nominate them and their AAR as the week's winner. Do I understand correctly?
