The new map is so incredible, I loeve just to look at it and marvel at all the new things I see!
I don't even know where to start my first real new game.
The wait has truly been worth it.
(But now I am already spoiled by seeing the Assyrians, maybe their culture could be put into the ruler designer before their real release..?:D)

Out of curiosity, is the new version of SWMH going to be compatible with the mod "Novus Graphicus"?
Does it change the checksum? If not, then it's compatible, although you probably want to try it with NBRT+ disabled.

If if changes the checksum, it depends. If they've re-done the terrain map or anything like that for the vanilla map specifically, then it's definitely not compatible (nor would it be compatible with other, more accurate and aesthetically pleasing versions of the vanilla map such as that from @CrackdToothGrin). If not, then it might be compatible, and you should give it a whirl with NBRT+ disabled, and let us know the results (screenshots would be nice).

I was curious so I gave it a try. Just make sure to not install NBRT+, and remove colormap.dds and colormap_water.dds from Novus Graphicus. As for the mod itself, I think it's a light-weight, pretty looking mod. ;)

I've noticed that Khwarezmi culture is converting to Tajik when Muslim; is this intended? Speaking of which, where is the event file for the Iranian culture conversions? I've found the HRE and Turkmen ones.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found the file.

Yeah, I've been noticing that Songdians seem to convert to Tajik almost immediately after the beginning of an 867 start.

What's with half of Anatolia having Turkish province names in the early start dates? It would be nice to see this fixed.

Edit: Looks like it was SED. For some reason the creator thought mixing Byzantine and Turkish names would be a better solution than keeping them consistent or using dynamic names...

Would you care to elaborate a bit in the bugforum or post a screenie of it in the bugforum. Because that doesn't seem like a situation i can recognize from standalone-SWMH.

The province show up localised as they should for me

ETA: You already have posted in the bugforum i see

I noticed that you made the Eastern Galindians Prussian, which seemed a slight bit illogical to me, ince the Eastern Galindians were Eastern Balts, like Lithuanians and Latvians. Other than that, the newest version is great! :D

I haven't played HIP in a few months so apologies if this has been asked. Did Brittany get changed as part of the EE or at some other recent point? I seem to recall there used to be two de jure duchies there and now there's just the one?

Yea a Duchy got removed. If you want you can just add it back easily in swmhlandedtitles.

So what is the new localization for the Cumans? Were they merged with the Qipchaq? I seem to recall there was a list of cultures and their English equivalents.
There's always been one Cuman/Kipchak culture.

Who are the Khalaj and Kufichi cultures meant to represent in the 867 scenario? Khalaj seem to occupy the area of the Pashtos, and there are Pashto rulers in the area so not sure of the difference. Never heard of the Kufichi, are they meant to be the pre-migration inhabitants of Balochistan? Incidentally, what I've read of Brahui seems to suggest it quite possibly wasn't spoken in that area until the 10th century, are there any sources that put them there any earlier?
