"I see you are still as obsessed with those humans of yours as ever."
The Creature smiled.
"Ah, yes. But as you can see, this is not a space faring civilization. Yet."
The Watcher smirked.
"I can assure you, if they ever survive the nuclear age, I will be most pleased to watch their ascent into space. As I have before on other Earths."
He winked.
"Of course, at this time they are not yet ready."
The Creature raised his brow.
"And at what time are we speaking?"
The Watcher pointed.
"Earth, 1854. Currently I'm focusing on the country they call Brazil."
He pointed again.
"Here, they are expanding in the white areas in the south of them on the map."
He frowned.
"But a neighbor of theirs are expanding also. I fear they won't see much good from their endavours down there. Up in Mapuche, perhaps, if they are lucky."
The Creature scratched his chin.
"So this is Earth... But which, if I may?"
The Watcher chuckled.
"Earth of the dimension C-3-PO-SW-XR-KUN-9."
He held up a finger.
"Nine. Not eight, so no Force, I can assure you."
He clucked.
"Although, that would be something to watch. Ah, perhaps later."
He looked up.
"Their leader is an interesting character. A reformer, but also a hereditary ruler. Intelligent, well liked, young. His realm has seen some changes over the last two decades. But,"
He held up his finger.
"Still a far way from what you would call progressive, or even liberal."
He pointed to a slide.
"See here? Partly liberal, I guess. But still, child labor, censorship, slave trade..."
The Creature cocked his head.
"Quite so. But their economy is going upwards, ever so slowly."
The Watcher nodded.
"Indeed. But the strains of their expansion has cost them in standard of living, as the government raised the taxes to max a while ago."
He paused.
"Still, quite interesting. Now, as long as there isn't any sudden extra-dimensional or extra-galactic invasion of any sort, this should play out quite well, I am sure."
The Creature beamed.
"In that case, may I interest you in some cookies while we watch? It's my grandmother's recipe."
The Creature smiled.
