The Kensei Minshutou will also be fielding candidates in Kanto and Kansai in addition to Chugoku.
The Farmer-Labor Party will run candidates in Kansai only.

If the Opposition Parties are going to insist on an electoral pact, then surely it does us no good to have two Opposition Parties contest the same area of the country.

The Jiyudo Party shall run a joint ticket with the Kensei Minshutou and the Nōmin-rōdō-tō.

The CDP is a odd beast, it calls for the end of goverment intervention in the economy and the end of tariffs and reduction of taxes, yet they coalition with the FLP, a party that calls for the reorganization of the economy by the state, protectionist tariffs, and whos tax policy seems very heavy. I wonder how the CDP leadership expects their cooperation with a party that holds the exact opposite domestic policy to go.

- Nagane Hidetoshi

Nagane also submits his "Eleven Points" as the KMT's platform to the Electoral Comission

- The Kensei Minshutou is a party dedicated to ending the corruption and warmongering of the Dateist Oligarchy that currently dominates Japan, as well as ensuring the safety of her economy and her people.
- The Kensei Minshutou advocates for a reduction of the tax burden upon all citizens of Japan, and ensuring the right of the Japanese to conduct free enterprise unhindered.
- The Kensei Minshutou advocates for a reduction and even general abolition of tariffs to promote free and open trade, global peace, and to ensure the prosperity of Japan.
- The Kensei Minshutou vows to end government interference in the economy, allowing industrialists to conduct business freely and without fear of harassment.
- The Kensei Minshutou strongly disapproves of any attempt by the government to regulate or interfere with the religious practice of its citizenry, and has no quarrel with the religious practices of any Japanese, be they Buddhist, Shinto, or even Christian.
- The Kensei Minshutou believes that war and warmongering are the single greatest evils perpetuated by the present corrupt and ingrained oligarchy, and advocates a foreign policy of isolation and diplomacy rather than endless war.
- The Kensei Minshutou opposes the Dateist policies of cultural eradication of the Korean and Tagalog peoples, and believes that all citizens of the Empire should have the right to conduct business, receive education and petition the government in their own language without interference from the state.
- The Kensei Minshutou strongly advocates for the enfranchisement of the working class, as only via universal manhood suffrage is there any hope of ending the Oligarchy's iron grip on political power.
- The Kensei Minshutou is highly supportive of the Emperor's role in limiting the power of the Oligarchy.
- The Kensei Minshutou believes that all decision-making power should be in the hands of the Diet and the Emperor, not in the hands of an unelected group of nobility, and thus calls for the abolition of the institution of the Privy Council, with the power to name the Prime Minister of Japan to be vested in the Emperor and the Emperor alone, who has and will align with the will of the people as demonstrated in the Diet.
- The Kensei Minshutou calls for an immediate end to all current wars as soon as peace can be negotiated.

The Farmer-Labor Party, Formerly the Radical Progress Party, has changed leadership multiple times throughout the previous years, with this change in leadership has come a change in policy. No longer do we appear to accept the equality of all citizens of our Empire; instead we shy away from furthering the rights of the men & women of Chosen. No longer do we tell our supporters to trust in the government, that the state will always care and provide for them, that they must toil for the benefit of all; instead we insist that they must have more land, that they must rely on only themselves and, in doing so, must become uncharitable. I can no longer truly say that I support the policies of this party and as such hand in my resignation as one of its Members.

The obsessive attempts of the Opposition to defeat the Date administration has lead them astray from their original goals. When the Freedom Party was formed it had one ideal, the pursuit of Peace & Prosperity. It is deeply unfortunate that this is no longer the case, the Freedom Party was destroyed by petty squabbling for power and now bends its ideals to suit those that are popular. The Constitutional Democratic Party has made an effort to retain those original goals, for this I greatly respect them; it is most unfortunate that mine and their economic & social ideals differ otherwise I might have joined their cause. Lacking a group which I can readily support I have decided to run as an independent. Let it be known that I stand for the rights of all those who reside within or great nation; let it be known I say that we must trust the State and that the State shall always provide; let it be known that I despise war, that it is my belief that no-one should have their lives cut short so arbitrarily, no-one should have to suffer due to injury, no-one should have to be maimed. Let it be known that I run as a Representative of People, Peace & Prosperity.
