Kudos for playing as Trebizond, you turned them into a pretty cool empire!
I don't know what I should do next. I usually just take advantage of whoever is weak, but Trebizond is a pretty fun nation to play as, but their ideas are kinda meh.
I'm thinking of making a Pontic Anatolia, and I already have religious ideas.
If you want to roleplay actual Trebizond, just restore the Byzantine empire as best you can. It's what the Komnenoi would have done.
Damn all these great empires and I'm just happy to not srew my game up before 1500. :^)

Did you also take Humanist ideas? They are excellent with reducing seperatism by 7 years, so much easier to manage rebels.
Administrative/Defensive/Exploration/Quality/Offensive/Humanist/Plutocratic one of my last idea Groups.
This was my ironman mode for any of the paradox games, actually. It has gone quite well.. Much better than I expected in fact.

GFX setting that improves FPS, supposedly. My eyes hurt just looking at screenshots with it, though, so I've no idea how people play the game like that. Different strokes osv.

For me the water looks completely black if I disable water textures. Looks kinda bad also but not as horrible as this
