Just read through this AAR, and found it to be hilarious as well :D

Regarding pressure I've heard that it could make both diamonds and dust

Like zombies with invisible handcuffs, the Pir-ates marched forward.

In their quest to bring every being into bondage.

The Pir-ates were well skilled in ship building if little else and journeyed far and wide in search of prey, seemingly for no reason at all.

And soon found when they called upon their Moron (for this became their new word for 'captain'), new Pir-ate ships would mysteriously appear.

The Pir-ate plague was quickly spreading and their new victims were unaware what was about to befall them.

He he. Invade and occupy the entire world.

(Khaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!)

Sorry, flashback.

I've had a thought about a possible way to reduce crashes- they are mostly related to diplomacy, so editing out all ai knowledge of your capital may be a way to stop them (no knowledge of capital, no dipomacy).

PS. I am far more evil looking than that, but the fur is nice, so I'll let it pass.

It doesn't have to make sense in order to be entertaining. Take most American TV, for example :D (though I think this is a bit superior to any televison show I've ever watched).

(Fortunately, these days I don't watch much TV since I'm so busy on the 'Net and other comp-related activities, but since I regard most TV shows these days as senseless, flavorless tripe anyways, it's no big loss ;) )

(No offense intended to anyone who actually watches or makes said tripe, of course :p )

And w/ regard to the pic: I wouldn't mind being a tad more shadowy / mysterious.

All in all, entertaining stuff. Keep at it! :)

Duke of Wellington - Well Im glad you like it  am I missing something? There is no looting, no flaming provinces, but it does look like I get the amount for controlling their province (I never knew exactly what this was), so I am getting the gold income :D

Amric - Talent...showcase   oh this is too much really. (Seriously now), very kind words, I humbly thankyou for them. ahhh sorry...just that I had no idea that this load of old tot was the sort of thing people would consider entertaining...though I still think its a flash in the pan kinda stuff. I will make my way over to AAR forum at some time tomorrow after its all sunk in. Again thankyou!

GrimReaper - Well thankyou...I sit at my computer dumbfounded. Dust in this case to be sure.

Gjerg - Gjerg evil looking? no way, just like a little puppy dog from what I remember :D (EU2 MP downunder ;) ) Exactly...but how do I do it? I was thinking of moving my capital around if it crashed, so that they would not know me, but that probably wouldnt last long...

Specialist290 - I dont watch much TV either...I thought ur pic looked intelligent, u know to be a specialist and all. Sure everyone wants the cool shadowy aliens ;)

(no offense intended) but is there something going around that I dont know of, some sort of new wacky weed or mind altering disease or something (seems to be alot of it about in here). I thought I was mad doing this, but it seems I am not alone....

We are paradoxians, we are all wierd, and we love it.

Mad? Not mad, diseased! For you have clearly caught the sweet contagion that is the AAR bug, a peculiar mutation of the plague bacillus that is mysteriously transmitted along electric wires and through computer terminals. There is no known cure, but then why would anyone be bothered to find one? ;)

Great fun as always.

Some people take this all very seriously and some like stuff like this...and it is the major portion that likes both styles. This is fun. We like fun stuff.

@Real_Deal: Nah, the pic itself is fine, it's just that the excess "lighting" makes (made) it look a tad too much like the cute and cuddly "I-wanna-take-one-home-daddy!" type ;) At least to me, anyway.

In in regards to your other statement: We're all mad to someone else ;)

I had no idea that this load of old tot was the sort of thing people would consider entertaining
The secret is - if you're having fun making it then people (that is, at least some people, somewhere) will have fun reading it. Stnylan is right - fun is a contagious disease! :p So, let's have some more... Oh, and you got my picture pretty close, though it's a while since I was that handsome. :D

Welcome aboard Averite and Ahmed AA and thanks for your comments, as for everyone else's, thanks. (please forgive me for not answering individually, Im used to so much traffic).

I hear what your all saying, its slowly sinking in...

I hope I can at least pump out a couple more episodes...to be honest with you I would love to blow the planet and go on some wild space trip (with the alliance) (as making those space pics was the best bit for me), but then there would be no pirate/EU2 story and surely would no longer be an aar :D , could one small EU2 screenie thrown in here and there make it plausible?

Anyway until then....I got some inspiration for the next scene and hopefully it wont take too long to make it...

The Pir-ates went about their everyday business of aimlessly causing havoc on the inhabitants of the earth.

moron2.jpg

Though a force deep inside drew them back to Moron their capital.

Moron.jpg

It was here that first contact was made between the Pir-ates and their master or in this case Moron. Many terms were laid down, the Pir-ates agreed and were well pleased to have a higher purpose.

moron4.jpg

With all speed they proceeded to follow the great morons instructions.

moron3.jpg

Planting the sacred image in Rome.

moron5.jpg

And storming Africa...

moron6.jpg

Though they were not quite sure which part of Africa....

moron7.jpg

moron8.jpg

So they decided to randomly storm the continent to please the moron and the Paradox alliance.

moron9.jpg

Disrupting the European shipping was second of the commandments, so they took great care to ensure they fulfilled it.

However the Pir-ates for the first time in their long history began to murmur amongst themselves, pondering the point of this aimless violence and others began to question the authority of the great moron...some even thought that they should be the big moron....these were the beginnings of turbulent times....
