Day 6​

The Psilons! How did you all forget about the Psilons? No matter, this is a simple correction. The Irish Junction had clearly helped the Psilons with their research. This allowed them to make huge leaps in technology. While this gave them highly advanced ships, they only had them in small numbers and your defeat of the Psilons was swift. Unfortunately, their scientific minds had pumped out one last technological wonder. Unlike the Blorg's frienship ray or Ramius's world cracker, this one used a neutron sweep to wipe out all life on the planet. The Psilons chose to move against the Doom Hive and its consciousness, the Maw. They had declared themselves the Defenders of the Galaxy and the hive mind worked hard to protect all life in the galaxy until the last. Their death struck the galactic community hard.

Night 6​

There was silence for a time. Some dared hope the galaxy was safe, but it was clear that was not true. Civilian ship traffic near the extradimensional portals was still going missing and hit and run attacks on the frontier still left millions dead. The extradimensional invaders however did not seem to mount any serious attack. Was this because they were on their last legs or because someone had managed to thwart their invasion or perhaps something else? The galactic community did not know and that might be even more terrifying than if the invaders launched their expected attack. The community had no choice but to wait and see what would happen.

How does that apply to me? I voted Arkasas, because I was suspicious of him and thought him not an unlikely candidate for baddie. I hadn't realized that Yakman was still on MAW, and even if I had, what could I have done about it?

Now that I have some time, I was going to dig deep and do some analysis but it seems were at the point where PMs are where the discussions are taking place and Maw died before I had time to PM him to see what the JL is doing. Yeah I think Arkasas is the best bet for an Unbidden baddie, which is what we should prioritized since Madchemist flipped Aberrant, as I predicted, which is why I'd voted him yesterday, I've thought over other possible candidates, but after having a whole bottle of wine, am pretty confident on Arkasas.
