The Invasion and Annexation of Tibet and The Revision of "The Twelve Glorious Steps to Afghani Power"

Industry
After equiping an infantry and a garrison division and deploying it on Urumqui the Industry was set on equiping and training another infantry division and after that a garrison division. The Conquest of Sinkiang has yielded a further 1C making a total of 7 IC for the Afghani Empire.

Diplomacy
It was obvious to the Afghani leadership that it would need allies to defeat the Dalai Llama and Tibet, at the very least to craete another front. But there were only 4 countries bordering Tibet and British India and her puppet countries Bhutan and Nepal were unwilling to assist and so Yunnan was steadilly influenced as to be ready for an alliance.

Militarilly
The Generals were shocked by such an unforseen revision to "TTGSTAP" but they offered another plan. Since Japan would no doubt be at war soon their idea was to join an alliance with Japan and quickly annex Xibei San Ma. The Revised Plan was to lead to conflict with China but the Generals were sure that China was to be too occupied with Japan to put up any real resitance.
The Number of Division serving with the Afghani Empire are as follows:
2 Infantry Divisions
1 Garrison Division
1 Cavalry Division
5 Militia Divisions
9 Total Divisions.
Amanullah ordered them (except the garrsion division) to move to the Afghan-Tibet border on September 2.
The troops were there by November 12 and they were ordered to cross the border on December 1st.

Research
After the completion of the Firepower Doctrine by the military acadamy.Kabul Arsenal Factory was ordered to provide the Afghani with Rear Area Supply dumps to speed movenment.

The Invasion of Tibet
On December 1 the invasion of Tibet commenced and an alliance with Yunnan was signed, Yunnanese Troops were ordered to Quamdo to assist in the capture of Lhasa the Capital. These are the only event worth of mention because although the Tibetan Troops pushed the Afghani-Yunnan alliance back sometimes the fall of Lhasa was inevitable and on May 10 1937, almost six months since the war began,Tibet was annexed into the Pan Afghan Empire except for Quamdo which was awarded to Yunnan.

The Revision of The Twelve Glorious Steps to Afghani Power
(TTGSTAP for short)
Due to the Alliance with Yunnan and improving relations with Persia several facets of TTGSTAP needed to be revised the revised copy is shown below:

Step 1:The Reseach of the Firepower Doctrine
Step 2: The Takeover of Sinkiang
Step 3: The Invasion and Annexation of Tibet
Step 4: The Invasion and Annexation of Xibei San Mai
Step 5: Taking Down China with Japan
Step 6: The Modernization and Expansion of Industry
Step 7: The Modernization and Expansion Of the Armed Forces
Step 8: Alliance with Germanny
Step 9: Preparations for Steps 10 and 11
Step 10: The Invasion and Integration of them into the Glorious Pan Afghan Empire.
Step 11: Assisting Germanny in Operation Barbarossa
Step 12: Enjoying the Fruits of Victory.

Can a mod change the title of this to "The Pan Afghani-Empire, An Afghanistan 1936 AAR"

good update, keep it up, soon you'll have a grand empire. But if you assist Germany with Barbarossa wont you also be at war with England, well only if you join the Axis.

well you could upload the pics unto a site like imageshack.us and then insert the pictures when you make a post leaving more space for the update itself...

Does no one know how to make a 2.5mb picture fit into a 1.4 mb diskette

Best way is to change the file format... from a *.BMP to a *.JPEG or *.GIF

TO DO: Load the image in MSpaint go to Save As and write the file name and *.JPEG or *.GIF

ie; Bat.BMP becomes Bat.JPEG or Bat.GIF

*NOTE: You may lose some image quality.

If it's already a *.JPEG or *.GIF, the you may want to 'zip it' using a programe like WinZip or WinRar which are free of charge.

The Invasion of Xibei San Ma
After greedily devouring Tibet, the Pan-Afghan Empire and it's leader Amanullah decided to turn it's covetous sight towards the Warlord Province of Xibei San Ma. The troops were ordered to walk all the way towards the Xibei San Ma-Pan-Afghan Reich border, but they were stopped on July 4th and ordered to test the new "snorting-sneezing and shXXting trains" developed by Kabul Arsenal Factory. So-called because they were just that, miscellanous animals joined together to transport men and matterial. On August 6, Afghanistan declared war and invaded Xibei San Mai.

The Same pattern which preceeded previous invasion of the Pan-Afghan Empire looked to follow, after capturing the capital, resistance would cease and the country was to be annexed. But this was not to be for Xibei San Ma, for when on September 21 Afghani Troops entered the capital, instead of capitulation, Xibei San Ma was absorbed into Nationalist China. Now, for the first time the Pan-Afghan Empire was in trouble.

uh oh....hopefully, the ai will bring more divs to counter the japanese threat then yours...plus you got mountains on your side! :)

You are using DISKETTES?? And you probably write your notes by carving them into clay tablets??

I thought that technology died out together with the Neanderthal man. Get a USB stick, that is so much faster and immensely better than a "diskette".

If the 12 glorious steps steps actually work, and the SU transfers its industry to your neighbouring region of siberia.....

Need I say more?

Dont diss the diskette!

You're forgetting how cheap they are, only 2 dollars for 500,000 (I'm not exaggerating really)

And they're also REALLY TOUGH, unlike USB's. Most people cant even wreck them if they try, while USB's can be broken with feathers. (Still not Exaggerating)

Also, Why did Afghanistan lose its cores on pakistan in HoI2? That doesn't give much industrial growth capability  :(

Do you know how much I got stored on diskettes? A lot. They last very well, if stored in right conditions.

The "China Crisis"

The "China Crisis" as the Afghani leadership reffered to it was the dark week of September 21-October 3 1937 when the country found itself at war with a country much more powerful than itself, the peace proposal offered to Nationalist China was rejected on September 21 1937. The crisis was revolved on October 3 1937 when another peace proposal was proposed to Nationalist China. What made Chiang accept this time? Afghani Troops had captured the Chinese province of Xining 2 days before, that in itself was bad enough to make Chiang accept but worse was the recent Japanese breakthough on the Yellow river which they had acchieved by capturing Xinyang. In the end Chiang had no real choice in the matter, his 6-12 divisions fighting the Afghans were better suited to fighting the Japanese. So on October 3 1937 Chiang agreed to cede the former Xibei San Ma capital, Golmud and Xining in exchange for peace.

Alliance with Japan and the "Backstab"
Afghani leadership was elated by their diplomatic coup, they built up Afghani troop strenght on the border and garrisoned Golmud. They watched the Chinese Situation with unrestrained glee, Japanese forces had managed to push Chiangs troops to the Yellow river and were close to Nanjing. Diplomatic feelers put out by Afghanistan revealed that Japan was planning a major offensive against Nationalist China, The two goverments signed a treaty called the "Kabul Pact" on November 28 1937
In summary the terms were:
1. Afghanistan was to declare war on and invade China straight away
2. After the death of China a number of provinces will go to Afghanistan, depending on the ammount of Afghani Contribution but the provinces Japan would give to Afghanistan could not go below 2 and could not exceed 10.
3. Japan was to provide Industrial Experts to the Pan-Afghan Empire.
4. Japan and Afghanistan were to assist each other in any future military ventures.
5. In the unlikely event of defeat, the Kabul Pact is judged to not have been signed.

On November 28
Afghani troops began to pour into Yushu and had managed to reach it by March 12 1938 often encountering stiff Nationalist Resistance.
