Yah, started 1419...the thing is I had to use columbus cheat at the start to see anything (as Im not using a mod) so getting to Europe wont be difficult. Plus I dont lose any ships to attrition, however they do have to return home to port after a period of time.

Well I didnt have much to work off. Nothing much springs to mind with Walter (except perhaps plain or geeky) and well, model - perhaps such as someone who makes model planes etc, so I went with the stupid / geeky looking alien (but then again he could be the stupid looking mastermind of the group), or perhaps he could be a shape shifter.
Please this is in no way reference to you as a person (as none of the others are), for I dont know you from a bar of soap, some others alittle via their previous comments.

), such as "rue", guess he reads abit = big head, full of knowledge (sounds intelligent) Lurken = well someone who lurks, (perhaps quiet like) that face was a clincher for me
Coz 1 = No nonsense, knows what he likes kind of guy, that face says it for me
Duke = well, the name is too well connected to a real person, but that alien looked sort of cool
The rest I had no idea, I just put the faces to names of people that had posted up to that date (Im glad I got Calantyr's likeness correct).

It's a fine beginning and highly entertaining. The screenies are nice and the absurdity of it all is the best part. Funny AARs have their place here too. J Paspartout and a few others do it so why not you? There is nothing wrong with a wacky story. Even if it doesn't necessarily makes sense. It is the entertainment value that is important. If we enjoy it we'll keep reading. I'm enjoying, so I'll keep reading. With pirates anything is possible. Even the most absurd concepts can be done. It's your story. You can do what you want with it. So far, it's been grand fun. Why not continue to parlay your talent to entertain so that we may all continue to enjoy your ongoing efforts?
