Who are the rebels occupying that province in northeast India? Also, who is rebelling in Xinjiang?

Vile Bourgeois Jacobins. They are dealt with as we speak, but they ruined my finish phote.

Xinjiang is occupied by Kashgirian seperatists.

My ethnic Brazilian empire; not bad for a South American noob I thought. My initial goal was basically to unify as much of S. America under the Brazilian flag as possible, unfortunately I was immensely unlucky with badboy. Almost every single war of conquest/ provincial conquest cost the full amount.

Also I thought this was interesting: disgusting Kashgarian borders and China is a puppet of Japan.

My Ottoman game with the Minimalism Mod.

Not an easy country to play, but I did manage to stay a great power for about 80% of the game. It got tricky in the beginning with the low population and later in the game from competing with hyper-industrialized nations like Japan & China. That said though, I am quite pleased with my presence in the world, I survived a European conference on the Balkanisation of my European holdings and I nabbed more of the Arabian peninsula, Zanzibar, Somalia & the Weihaiwei treaty port in China. All this, while only having to reform to a Prussian Constitutional monarchy and maintaining a firm control with reactionary & conservative policy making.

So I wanted a fun challenge, so I decided to play the Ottomans in Minimalist mod. I managed to stay a GP and I never dropped below 8. I was even rank 4 once :). Surprisingly easy once you get going, just build some Clippers to assault Dumyat(Egypt) from sea. As for spherelings, I have Romania, Hedjaz, Tunis, Hungary, Spain, Panama, Vietnam, Johore, Serbia, Ethiopia, Persia and Two Sicilies. Also I have Ningdao as a treaty port(probably the best one, since wood RGO and 300k pops ensure relatively easy conversion)

I don't think I've ever seen American colonise BC like that. Was this play through done on one version or over a few patch iterations?
One version, played yesterday. Now I am planning to assault USA to keep CSA alive. Also, did you ever consider allowing fabrication of Make Puppet Casus Belli to countries who have multiple times the amount of population?

The mod uses vanilla rules for puppeting nations (can't be applied to nations with greater than 4 states) so population isn't a factor really but if their army is larger than yours your nation can run the risk of losing them to a declaration of independence decision.

Everyone who loves Victoria 2 has played Germany and has gone on a blobbing conquest spree. I wanted to do my own Germany playthrough and to achieve something a little more sophisticated than that, something that would make a good post. Without further ado, the Triumphant Reich!

Disclaimer: this is vanilla 3.04 HoD with my own colors used for Germany and Austria.

Omz4dVT.jpg

The goal was simple - to dominate Europe, more specifically to be the only Great Power in Europe. An ambitious goal, but to make Germany interesting, one has to reach for the stars. Extra rule was to limit conquest to absolute minimum, while still reigning supreme in the end. In a way I wanted to represent economic and diplomatic supremacy of Germany in the scenario. This playthrough was vaguely inspired by Kaiserreich, so the outcome is somewhat resembling.
hJROo6m.jpg

An early Eurorasian Union. Loving the custom color. Europe is at peace for as long as Reich stands. While revanschism is a thing, the only nation that absolutely hates my guts is England/UK, as I own incredible amount of their colonial cores. In all other cases when cores changed hands, it was due to liberations or my puppets adding own wargoals.
hMmKioc.jpg

Map of the world. Germany dominates Africa as resource rich colonial regions were the top priority for Kaiser.
8d8fZad.jpg

Immune to foreign attacks, Reich remains vulnerable to domestic enemies. 6 million communists and 18 million liberals will revolt eventually. Activists seek to limit Kaiser's power however public request for secret ballots will never be granted.
uDSFfoQ.jpg

43 000 is the cost of daily industrial subsidies. What else is there to say, they must be literally burning money, but the choice between this and massive unemployment is clear as day. As long as Germany can afford it, all it's continental industry will remain subsidized.
UzSJ0RY.jpg

Health reforms rush and bleeding europe for migration has lead to population skyrocketing. I didn't expect it to reach almost 100 million people, however a significant part of that population is located in Indonesia, Africa and Carribean.

As any other Germany player, I pulled the Mega Germany trick (annexing A-H), then pulled annexation trick to get entirety of PLC annexed in one war. With conservatives in power, I shut down all the industry everywhere outside the german lands I originally intended to keep. Although some went to New World, the migration of workers was significant.
Sp421qM.jpg

Continental rivals to the Reich. Fortunately both nations are busy with internal struggles to go after German Indochina, Siberia or Middle East.
7QKiBne.jpg

New World Order. There are four more great powers, but neither of them can compare to the titans, that are Germany, APR, China and India.

Fascists have numbers on their side along with strategical position.

Last bastion of freedom, Germany, is spread around the world and is vulnerable to attacks from multiple directions, but still has literacy, industry and military/naval might for itself.

Weakest of the four, APR is protected by the ocean and is surrounded by weak neighbours, who would never be able to protect themselves should the war begin.
ToiAC3x.jpg

Great Britain, France, Russia and Spain are slowly making a comeback. Britain and France are plagued by revanschism that will result in blood, when Germany is challenged. Spain has succumbed to anarchists and is a presidential dictatorship now, while Russia clings to it's declining monarchy while desperately trying to keep rebels away from the capital.

Two of the Crown's colonies are now amonst world leaders, but both are vastly inferior compared to their neighbours.

Both China and India spent decades trying to recover its cores. In retrospective, both were doomed to turn faschist sooner or later.

American and Brazillian revolutions have taken place early in the 20th century. Communists have taken power in both North and South America and will not be stopped in forseeable future.

Endscreen.

From my Greek campaign, it is too beautiful to not share:

U4yhfT3.jpg

Population of 1.42 billion, 4149 mil score, 2080 regiments (guesing here, might be 208).

And I have two questions for you, 1: How? 2: Why not Byzantium?

This is my little baby Mexico.

I, for some reason, didn't have an American intervention when good president and general De Santa Ana retook the rebellious province of Texas, probably because I both improved my relations with them before my army occupied a province and I made sure we occupied all provinces within a month to minimalise American interventionism. For the players that don't know: the US won't get cores on you if they don't annex Texas after the revolution, so you can continue playing your big prairie Mexico. I took Louisiana during the American civil war and it costed me my alliance with them but they don't show any ambition if getting it back.

I changed Mexico into an empire by accident by event when I started messing around with my population for a few years, and decided to keep it around.
I haven't continued this game as of yet, I think I paused it in 1890, after I colonised the entirety of uncolonised Polynesia + Hawaii.
