It makes me rather happy that Cesare had a son. Hopefully Tuscany will have a chance to recover from the wars before it has to fight more. Though Italian unification is a worthy goal.
Now that's what I call an Infant ex Machina.
Tuscany can look forward to a long regency then.
Nice to see Francesco becoming a more capable leader. And the eloping was cute.
By my count, you only need four more provinces to form Italy, correct? And then you've those wonderful permanent claims on the whole peninsula.
Must be Genoa right?! I'd imagine there are still truces with Venice, PS and Milan. So go for Genoa itself or one of its provinces? Or even strengthening Montferrat?Excellent update as always. Looks like Tuscany's in a good position with a strong leader and heir. I also noticed that the Papal state gets smaller every decade or so. Won't be long before the Eternal City is swallowed up. I imagine though it'll be saved for last, since it's the seat of the Church itself.
Guess all that's left now is to pick the next target for expansion.
Greetings everybody. I know I have not updated the AAR in a while. I just got back from overseas and my wife just gave birth to our first kid so needless to say things have been quite busy. I do have some good updates lined up as soon as I have some free time but I am not entirely sure when that will be. I just want everyone to know that I am still going to keep this AAR going in case you were wondering.
