Nope still doesn't work properly. Super easy to test by running -Operation Overhaul- which has dependencies on Expert AI and New World Order. Botched since 1.5.
How exactly is it broken tho. What to test for? Does the ai not appear to work etc. How do I see that it doesnt work?

Hello again.
I've just updated the 1.5.2_beta build with changes from the last 2 days (friday and monday).
The checksum is ae89.
Here is the changelog:
##################################
# AI
##################################
- Added AI strategies to the Baltics and Finland to make them more eager to join Germany's faction if Germany has chosen "Safeguard the Baltics" and/or "Support the Finns".

##################################
# Database
##################################
- Fixed a duplicate name of a German destroyer

##################################
# Balance
##################################
- Cautious trait now reduces chance to get wounded (making it the polar opposite of reckless).
- Changed mobilization impact from positive war support to 30 % (up from 3%)
- japanese ideology advisors are now only locked behind focuses for Waking the Tiger DLC owners
- Reworked the Assertiveness Branch of the Manchukuo Tree:
- added a decision unlocked from taking control of the railroads that gives 4 CIV factories over the course of a year
- removed factories from legislative council, purge general affairs and control the railroads
- purge the general affairs council now removes Kwantung veto
- bolster nationalism now allows recruiting bandits. if bandits are still active in the country, taking these decisions removes the spirit
- added a decision to local arms procurement that adds an idea giving dramatically reduced cost for small arms at the cost of reduced reliability
- removed autonomy gain from Assertiveness focus (made no sense)
- added a decision to five people armies allowing the raising (and disbanding) of Manchu Banners, represented by 5 large infantry divisions
- added a decision to the purge general affairs council allowing player to pay command power to seize Japanese army depots in the case of war, giving increasingly large injections of equipment into stockpile and corresponding attack and defense penalties to Japan for a limited time
- reduced the impact of bolster nationalism spirit

##################################
# Bugfix
##################################
- Fixed volunteers not properly being sent back to their rightful owner.
- Corrected British division namelist to use brackets instead of apostrophes.
- Changed scavenger trait to additive modifier
- Fixed a broken bypass in Japanese Liberate Manchuria focus.
- Changed completion trigger for 'Fuhrer directive 21' mission to include allies controlling the required states.
- Added scripted trigger for a state being controlled by ROOT country or an ally to them.
- Fixed Austria-Hungary being formed multiple times as a result of "Rekindle Imperial Sentiment" focus.
- Fixed Austria-Hungary news event referring to "Austria-Hungary taking the lead". Now correctly refers to country's old tag.
- Re-Forming Austria-Hungary now flips government to Unaligned and makes Otto von Habsburg country leader.
- Hungary can now choose "Tade Deal with Germany" focus with non-Fascist Germany.
- "Break the Anglo-French Colonial Hegemony" focus now also correctly gives claims on Palau, Papua, and Samoa.
- "Reinstate Imperial Possessions" and "Reintegrate Luxemburg and Alsace-Lorraine" focuses are now also available if France is puppeted or if Germany owns Alsace-Lorraine.
- "Reinstate Imperial Possessions" and "Reintegrate Luxemburg and Alsace-Lorraine" focuses now rename Alsace-Lorraine to Elsass-Lothringen, Strasbourg to Strassburg, and Mulhouse to Mulhausen.
- Greater Hungary can no longer be formed if Austria-Hungary was formed via the "Rekindle Imperial Sentiment"-spawned decision.
- Fixed panzer_leader trait not gaining xp if a non-armor unit was participating in the combat. Now it gains xp if more than 40% of the army under the leader control's is armored at the time of the combat.

Known issues:
- In a previous changelog, we've mentioned "Mods marked as dependencies are now loaded in the correct order". Turns out it still didn't solved some more complicated cases, and we are working on it as we speak.
- There was a change in the last 1.5.2_beta build that was not mentioned in the changelog, but players have discovered it. It's about having a temporary penalty for assigning airplanes to a new region. We didn't mention about that, because it's still work in progress (we have left some balancing and missing icon). It should be complete in the next 1.5.2 beta build this week.

"- Changed scavenger trait to additive modifier"

Good, now at least it will be worth to be considered as alternative to Fortress Buster.

- Fixed panzer_leader trait not gaining xp if a non-armor unit was participating in the combat. Now it gains xp if more than 40% of the army under the leader control's is armored at the time of the combat.

Very cool! :)

Is there any chance that the various Chinese countries can get generic companies? I'm specifically thinking of Assertiveness MAN, which can only get an airplane designer if they take the US or British options, and then they only get a medium designer given the requirement for the others is locked behind CHI/YUN having taken the focuses first.

Would it be possible to change the Chinese civil war resumption events to fire in the event of peace with Japan regardless of the date?

Would it be possible to force CHI to not join a faction unless a very specific set of circumstances are present? I can Mao pretty hard with one province and 11 factories but I can't Mao hard enough to beat CHI and GER at the same time. :(

Hey @TomaszKowalczyk will you take a look at "Case Anton" decision for Germany? It does nothing when you choose it, it simply disappears and Vichy France doesn't get annexed. I tested it both with paradrop on Toulon right after the decision was picked and just to get rid of Vichy France. Maybe the fact that Vichy France still was in control in Northern Africa, that might be a factor.

Also, is it possible to be able to bypass "Align Hungary/Romania" if they are already in your faction?

Thanks in advance

MEFO is getting rebalanced and I have fixed the issues in the French lists (not all though - the French DO have Parachute Divisions and Separate Airbonre Divisions because nothing is ever simple)
hey that's very kind thank you, will look better now

hope you remembered to change the names in the history files, not just division names files

good luck with 1.5.2 patch, the new expansion is great

Is the inability to take allied Poland as the Comintern even a bug? So far the devs have not said a word about it. If it is WAD, then can we have a decision to puppet poland as the USSR?

Speaking about rebalancing... The border wars in China are currently extremely unbalanced. An opportunistic Guangxi can easily eat more than half of China without ever going to war. I'm not sure what the fix should be - MEFOs are just about numbers (steeper incline?), while the border war issues are more complex.

One of the first things that should be taken away from border conflict is: getting extra 100 PP on victory. Which means if you will keep winning border conflicts you're not paying any PP, because it all pays back.

Please, add "bypass" ability to "Align Hungary/Romania" focus for Germany if they are already in your faction. Going "Align Romania" on historical creates a huge mess with Civil War in Romania with "Iron guard Romania" joining allies.

It's nothing new; Italy's Befriend Romania focus and modifier do as much. The crux of the issue is the very existence of such modifiers, but since they're probably staying, a decent solution would be that the modifiers also influence AI's willingness to change ideology peacefully.

Is it possible to give the new formed Austria-Hungary the old Hungary-Tree? Or at least Claims and Cores on their historic territory?

Just noticed. The Yalta conference has not been adjusted to possibility of new polish-german border. The state number 68 - Ostmark is omitted. Also DDR does not transfer new polish cores to poland but that might be intended. And finally... Maybe new event for poland to change names of new cores? ;)

- Corrected British division namelist to use brackets instead of apostrophes.
@Archangel85
two are not correctly edited:

Code:
1 = { "%dst Cavalry Division (Kings Own'" }
4 = { "%dth Cavalry Division (Queens Own'" }

should be:

Code:
1 = { "%dst Cavalry Division (King's Own)" }
4 = { "%dth Cavalry Division (Queen's Own)" }

thought you'd want these fixed before the beta ends so hope it is okay to point these errors out

also these changes need to be made in the history/units files, not just in the names file

don't forget the french and italian corrections too, and the CC.NN. divisions are easy to find/change because they all have CC.NN. in the name, and there are only 7 of them anyway

Cores on South-Tyrol, Istria, Slovenia, Croatia/Dalmatia, Vojvodina and Transylvania seems a fair addition to the nation that ends up forming Austria-Hungary by means of "Rekindle Imperial Sentiment". Then Banat and Bosnia can be contemplated until a later patch.
