((You're really making my 19th century sexist reactionary work here to come up with explanations. :p))

(( You can always read Chesterton's 'What's Wrong With the World' for inspiration. It's a very strange read coming from someone so otherwise clever. ))

Women merely lack knowledge in the areas required for deciding the fate of a nation. They are extremely capable in other areas such as child-rearing. They know how to raise children because it's ingrained into them at birth. Maternal instinct and whatnot. It would be foolish for us to force women to go against their own biology.

((Well I have heard that it's easier to argue for something you're against because it forces you to look at things logically, although it's hard to find logic in a 19th century argument that's very outdated. I kind of want women's suffrage to succeed here so I can make a female reactionary. I'd have a lot of fun with that. :p))

((Bundespartei and... uh... @Sakura_F, I've updated the main page with the new parties. Check the rosters and make sure everything is accurate.))

It is not yet the time for female suffrage. Women have fallen behind men and first must catch up economically and education wise before we should consider giving them the right to vote. Even then I would prefer a status of "seperate but equal" where our society does not collapse and tear up families as God intended them to be. It should be the primary objective for women to care for our children and do activities as voting and being involved in politics on the side.

The KPD will wholeheartedly support the emancipation of women, and the empowerment they so deserve!

Double check Liebknecht's age (I think that might be wrong), and you have a small typo. It's KPD not KAP. :p

Our women are taxed; they are not represented. And yet we dare call ourselves the envy of the world?

I can only support this measure.

The Bundespartai's goal is equal representation, rights, and equality among the many people of the German Republic. It shocks and amazes me that we have not addressed this problem in the past.
The only solution is to make up for lost time, and support this measure.

The Bundespartai has decided to add Women's Suffrage to the party line. Equality for minorities, for the fairer sex, and for Federalism!

Any increase in the rights of German citizens is supported by the DSU, despite what dinosaurs such as von Vandenburg might think.

I consider being called a dinosaur a compliment. If only I was as strong and brave as the mighty Archaeopteryx!

- Wilhelm von Vandenburg

But there is a reason why dinosaurs are extinct, Comrade Vandenburg.

Change does have a way of killing off greatness, just like how liberalism and socialism will do to Germany. Unlike the majestic dinosaurs, we at least have the ability to prevent such disastrous change.

But you only grow older, and the people's movement only grows stronger.

The Archaeopteryx died because over time it grew unfit for the times it lived in, unfit for the challenges faced. As you are, Herr Vandenburg.

((His age should be right, based on your info -- i.e., 55 as of 1881. I did fix the KAP-KPD. :) ))

The membership of the NLPD in the assembly unanimously support Suffrage for women.

Female suffrage is not proper at this time. First we must equalize women in education and jobs, and only after they have caught up intellectually I will support female suffrage. I still think such a thing should be a secondary objective for the woman. Our children should be the primary objective of our women. It is not for selfish, sexist reasons that I want to hold women back from voting. It is for our children. If women evolve to match up to men completely, our society will collapse and our children will be the first victims of said collapse. Evolution has given both sexes a clear purpose. It is our task as men to guard our women and children. It has been such since the dawn of time. Why change it now, and so sudden ? I know society has evolved . The old roles set by God and Evolution should not be disregarded in this new age however.
