Can anybody tell me if the Scottish flag in this screenshot
historically correct for the XVI century ? It's #4 from the
left.

cool-toxic said:Now that we are talking about your CoA's why did you pick the Gelre CoA for Netherlands? You should pick the CoA named HOL instead. That's Netherlands in EU2.
Hive said:That depends on whether you want them to be represented by a coat of arms or by an actual flag. The one in the screenshot is a coa.
Terminator said:I recall a different Scottish shield, something like a white cross on
the dark blue background. Any idea where to find that one ?
Terminator said:Picked the Gelre shield because when loaded '80 years war' scenario
of EU III the Netherlands are called Gelre there or Netherlands + Gelre
in the parentheses. Did they already have the tricolor Dutch flag back
then in 1580 ?
Hive said:I don't know if you can find it anywhere. Maybe on Kaigon's flagsite.
I'd suggest making it yourself, there are templates in a sticky here somewhere.

cool-toxic said:Well do you want it horizontal or vertical? And about the flag better request that at HOI2 forum as we don't use same templates. Btw, It's Orange not yellow.
Terminator said:The historically precise shield for the Netherlands
provided by Cool-Toxic.
cool-toxic said:They are all included in EU2 1.00 AFAIK. However Livonian Order comes later 1.09 should have it but it's not the same arms.
Actually none of those a correct if used as arms. Only the last two are correct if used as flag.
