SKIF - icons for HoI2 & DD

We're moving towards Doomsday with brand new sets of icons. "Old" style is kept, but we've completly reworked backgrounds and - in many cases - soldiers, heavy equipment ect. For now, new sets for Poland & Germany in a "HoI2 manner" are ready and waiting at http://www.hoi2icon.prv.pl/ in "Gallery 2". In "Gallery 1" you'll find our previous works. Once DD is released, we'll add new icons it brings (most of them for Poland & Germany are ready and waitnig for confirmation, because we're not sure in some cases what changes will DD introduce). New Russians & Italians will be coming soon, then the rest of the great powers, later Chinese, minor Axis allies ect.

huh, why do some icons have "36 or 45" and others "I or II or III" ?

You don't have bigger problems, do you? Infantry has arabic and all other types roman numbers because that's what was decided by forumers when Scytth was starting making icons. And it will stay this way. BTW, it helps to recognize infantry from different troops.

No, we're not that good :-) We look for good pictures for backgrounds, soldiers and other elements, cut them out and simply merge in Photoshop or whatever. Basicly, we do exactly the same as everyone (or 99,9 %) making icons or other graphic modifications for HoI2.

There are not so many changes between DD and vanilla so they should.
But I'm not the one who gaves guarantees.

Just to let you guys know that Im using your fabulous gfx in my HoI2 AAR. I couldnt remember where to look, as I lost the link, but thanks to Alexus I found it!

Until now, all icons were made, obviously, under HoI2. Soon we'll release land sets for GER, SOV, POL, JAP, ITA & USA, "generic" airforce and "generic" fleet - all compatibile with DD. Next France and UK will follow.

Just wanted to say very nice work.

Just unlocked DD and installed all your icon packs ... did the latest "DD" one last to make sure I got your latest which look superb. Ran a few tests and everything looks great in game, obviously the new units they added just for DD were just the plain old ones but other than that no prblems noticed.

Will post if I notice anything odd while playing.

Looking forward to your future releases.

EDIT Just noticed someone said the air and fleet are messed up ..they looked fine to me, whats got messed up?
