Can anybody tell me if the Scottish flag in this screenshot
historically correct for the XVI century ? It's #4 from the
left.

That depends on whether you want them to be represented by a coat of arms or by an actual flag. The one in the screenshot is a coa.

Now that we are talking about your CoA's why did you pick the Gelre CoA for Netherlands? You should pick the CoA named HOL instead. That's Netherlands in EU2.

Picked the Gelre shield because when loaded '80 years war' scenario
of EU III the Netherlands are called Gelre there or Netherlands + Gelre
in the parentheses. Did they already have the tricolor Dutch flag back
then in 1580 ?

I recall a different Scottish shield, something like a white cross on
the dark blue background. Any idea where to find that one ?

I don't know if you can find it anywhere. Maybe on Kaigon's flagsite.

I'd suggest making it yourself, there are templates in a sticky here somewhere.

Yes they did:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_the_Silent#War

However if you want the Coat of Arms for Netherlands you should go for the red lion on yellow background holding 17 arrows and one sword.

If you do not want to use the above you should take the Holland-Hainaut Arms.

About Netherlands+Gelre I do not know where that come from but Holland was the most importanty province in Netherlands.

The point is I am kinda short of time. Very difficult to make alone all
the graphic stuff necessary for a Mod.

Well do you want it horizontal or vertical? And about the flag better request that at HOI2 forum as we don't use same templates. Btw, It's Orange not yellow. :D

The point is I am using EU2 (not HOI2) - style for the Mod. In other
words all flags are absolutely like the ones for EU2, just the different
size. The size of EU2 flagstrip - 900X27 pixel. Mine are 600X18. That's
the only difference. The number of films in a filmstrip the same - 25,
absolutely like in EU2.

As for the shields mine are absolutely identical to those of EU2.
No changes needed for the shields.

OK, let it be Orange, not Yellow, fine with me. :)

Netherlands

Cool-Toxic, take a look how good your shield looks in game.
Thanks.

I would also suggest you use this for Spain:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6d/Escudo_II_Republica.png
(With the Habsburg arms in the middle not shown in this)

And for flag use the Burgundian Cross.

For Ottoman Empire they had:
150px-Flag_of_the_Ottoman_Empire_%281453-1844%29.svg.png

from 1453-1844, however the Dynasty of Ottoman had this from 1517-1844:
150px-Ottoman_Empire1517-1844.svg.png

I would suggest the first one red background with golden cresent.

For Austria I would suggest the red-white-red vertical stripes. (The red lion on yellow background is the habsburgs arms)

They are all included in EU2 1.00 AFAIK. However Livonian Order comes later 1.09 should have it but it's not the same arms.

Actually none of those a correct if used as arms. Only the last two are correct if used as flag.

The Livonian flag is historical and it's not available in EU2 1.00
