My brain hurts!

:D

Good progress. I was bit worried when Hungarians first declared war against you. But all turned out to be fine. Are you planning any colonial adventures?

BTW: I miss Mr. T, you shouldn't have killed him. Maybe you could resurrect him as a zombie or something.

Thanks 4 da very nice comments, sorry I didnt respond earlier.....

Just to let u know....Ive been really struggling lately and have absolutely 0 motivation or enthusiasm (including 4 playing the game), the last few weeks Ive been trying to recharge and even tried to get into CK and HOI without succeeding, just for something different...

this last update is just some stuff thats sat on my desktop for the last few weeks(the start of a new idea), together with were I was last at with Venice (as in completed pics)...I sortof dislike replying without an update...

this is close to where Im at right now...

We see if things pick up and this aar is continued, but I cant see it right now, Im kinda really embarrassed/dissapointed of all my failures and am considering a name change and new identity, so I can come back perhaps some months down the track and start a fresh...or maybe when EU3 comes out

For now...Adios amigos!

Well, at least you're braver than I am--you've actually started AARs ;)

Anyway, hope you get your motivation back. I know how this sort of thing can go--you start something, then you just lose interest and forget about it completely. Happens to me a lot. I still have yet to actually finish a game in EU2.

The thing is Ive started more than I care to remember....and not just under this name  ....Ive also never finished a game

also...I feel aars need to be updated frequently...or any readers ya had will just forget the story and lose interest anyway...not that any of my aars have had indepth stories or anything :D

Trust me, it's okay... (I've only finished one game myself). Sometimes you just need a sabbatical. Personally, I also think zombie Mr. T is a great idea ... he could duke it out with zombie Genghis!

btw the scenario selection screen is one of the funniest things I have EVER seen!! How much time did you spend doing all that stuff?? :D :D

The real deal, I know how it is, I´ve started four aars, and haven´t finished any of them. And, just like you, I´ve never completed a whole campaign. If I start a game as Venice, a week later, I get interested in another country, abandon my Venice game, and then the whole thing starts over again. :eek:o

Thanks! Yes, a long break in the Maldives will probably do me good :D . I also like the zombie idea...probably in not the same thoughts as others, its just I was getting abit repetitive there with Mr T and he was beginning to bore me.

Scenario screen...all what stuff? :D It didnt take all that long....just took all the files out, copied one GC and one save game file several times then renamed them...it took longer just to come up with the names

Good going there, watch out for Toulouse. Just take another break from the game. Doesn't really matter how often you update since we'll be here.

Cheers Duke....Toulouse? Their Venetian ally...their friends :) . Well Im going to keep the stuff for this aar and yeah...just take a break..

Try to find your motivation. This is one of aars worth checking out,it would be bad too lose this.

Glad you think so..theres alot of good stuff out there...to my shame, I dont comment much. Im getting alittle tired with this sortof humour right now...see how it goes...I will go and get a book on Venice from the library, they (history books) usually pick me up (in game) and can give me a surge of pride for the Venetians.

Thats just about it :D , new concepts, ideas and portrayals come to mind...the old is quickly forgotten as the new becomes red hot in your mind, then the cycle continues a few weeks down the line...

Perhaps I could start a thread titled..."never ending stories' and place links to all failures and just commence new aars there so then I can continue the tradition

I don't like when people abandones AARs. Stop doing that.

I know that an AAR can become boring after a while, becoming hard to keep up. I have felt so many times with different AARs but I have yet to abandone one, I even kept one up in which I was annexed two-three times. But I know the feeling I and I know two solotions to it. First, when you get bored with an AAR, take a break from it and come back later, it will give new insperation. Second, it can be good to do the entire AAR before you post it on the forum. That is the way I will do most of my coming AARs.

I hope you will come back to this one eventually.

Good fun. Now go and get more inspiration! personally I always find generous quantities of whiskey and loud music helps.

@ - Snake IV - ok...I have attempted to complete one before posting, but I got alittle excited about it and posted what I had at the time :(. I will take a loooooooooonng break from all arrs after I finish me slide show :)

@ - Stnylan - Easily said than done...I dont drink, smoke or take drugs (well for several years anyway), music is good.

Now please let this die off for now...and we'll see what happens...Venice is afterall one of my top favorite countries to play...there is some hope still!

(apologies to The Real Deal for posting in his thread again)

Interesting, I use cranberry juice and classical music.
