Wow, quite an opening drive! I hope they'll push back a little, or this might get a bit boring. :D

Army sized forces were ordered to advance on Bobraisk in order to encircle the seven divisions remaining in the Lida salient, though it seems unlikely that the full sized force will be captured. HQ estimates around four to three divisions to be trapped in Lida when sealed. NKVD divisions were met, but were too disorganized to achieve anything more than a minor distraction. By Fuhrer Order #4561 NKVD prisoners of war are to be sent to the General-Government for further interrogation and internment (labor facilities).

Current battle report from front headquarters Nord, Mitte, and Sud. Groups Nord and Sud are encountering heavy resistance in the north Baltic states and the Ukraine respectively. A current tug of war is being waged for the city of Tarnopol with Wehrmacht and Red Army divisions exchanging control repeatedly over the past few hours.

Currently Wehrmacht have captured at a minimum 500,000 Soviet prisoners from both pockets and active local encirclements.

An advance on Siauliau advanced rapidly with forces originating from Konigsberg and Alytus with supporting divisions from the recently captured city of Kaunas. A high number of POWs were captured, numbering 15,200. On the other hand, static forces in Memelland were routed by a three pronged attack. Although slightly demoralizing to our troops, it has given us a grand opprotunity to encircle, on estimate 15 Red Army divisions.

Wehrmacht prisoner count stands at 515,200 Red Army troops.

Heeresgruppen Sud
Southern Russia - Ukraine/Bessarabia

Here is a map of the planned advance into the heartland of southern Ukraine. Owing to the high concentration of Red Army troops on the Romanian border and the lack of any normal rear-guard disposition, an encirclement seems inevitable.

Heeresgruppen Afrika
Northern Afrika - Cyrenia/Egypt

With the capture of the fortress city of Tobruk and the imprisonment of 5 British divisions, German confidences are running high. Under the command of General Erwin Rommel, Panzer Army Afrika has managed to encircle an estimated 11 British divisions; most of whom have been identified from the Dunkirque disaster. With the destruction of this salient, Northern Afrika is ours, and with it the Suez.

Afrika HQ prisoner count currently stands at 46,520 men

Due to Italian incompetence and German reliance on our unreliable ally, British forces were able to reestablish a land connection with the Sollum pocket. Though lasting for only 22 hours, a single division managed to escape the encirclement; no doubt establishing a defensive line on Cairo - Alexandria. Deciding enough is enough, Italian and German high commands ordered the immediate capture or destruction of all British elements. 10 fully reinforced divisions were captured in the immediate aftermath.

Afrika HQ prisoner count stands at 138,610

Eastern Egypt - Palestine/Suez

While the British were sent reeling with the disaster in Sollum, the Regia Marina managed to land a single infantry division on the completely undefended Suez Canal. With one stroke of good luck and rare initiative displayed by the Italian navy, British communications with India and her Middle East 'mandates' were cut off and lengthened.

A week later it was reinforced with two motorized divisions from the Italian mainland.

Secret Meeting

Surrounding the round table were the main commanders on the Eastern front. Von Kluge, Guderian, Manstein, Rommel, and Runstedt stared at each other in an uneasy silence, waiting for the host to arrive. Their aides patiently waited in the solemn Prussian style.

"What is that I hear?" A suspicious Manstein heard outside the noise of an approaching car, its engine rumbling in the ever-closing distance.

Soon, the mysterious host entered through the door. The floor creaked ominously under his heavy boots.

"Bock? What is the meaning of this conference, you now we have a battle to run" said Rommel, with a hint of subordination.

"I will gentlemen, but first one order of business must precede" said Bock as he pulled out a standard issue handgun, the barrel pointed directly at Rundstedt's face.

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!" said the furious Rundstedt

"Do you and will you continue to hold Adolf Hitler as the rightful leader of Der Vaterland?"

"Absolutely!"

Immediately, a shot rang out through out the room. The bullet penetrating through his left eye, never to return.

Cooly, he wipes off the blood from his face.

"Now, do you understand the order of this meeting?"

Sorry for the short update, expect one tomorrow!

Something's happening!
