Here is the current occupational/frontline map of the Eastern Front. As you can see, the Wehrmacht has captured significant industrial centers from the Soviet Union; although spies report a great movement of industry to the Ural Mountains. Our three objectives of St. Petersburg, Kiev and Moscow are almost complete, with the former two captured. Army Group Center is currently preparing for the offensive against Moscow. Army Group Nord, on the otherhand is currently driving into the relatively undefended Nordland, with the objective of cutting off Soviets on the Finnish front. Army Group Sud is close to clearing out the Ukraine and our spies are being inserted into the administration of the Reichsprovinz Ukraine.

Soviet forces are desperately absorbing the first punch of our southern offensive, with worn-out demoralized divisions fleeing at the first sight of a Panzer tank. The effort, headed by Feldsmarschall Kluge has a 5:1 superiority in manpower 9:1 in tanks and 3:1 in artillery and specialty brigades. Divisional commanders are currently ahead of schedule and expect to reach the stop-lines with the next week at the latest.

Success! The puppet Egyptian government has caved and agreed to a ceasefire effective immediately after the capture of Alexandria and Cairo by joint Italian-German forces. Meanwhile, British forces are attempting to regroup on the banks of the Nile on a last ditch offensive to break the overstretched Italian troops. (Effective supply dumps have yet to be established in leau of the Royal Navy). Soon, British communications with its 'Crown Jewel' will be severely hampered; making the awaited Seelowe a looming threat to British sovereignity.

St. Petersburg - Moscow/Reichsprovinz Nordland
The Red Army around Moscow are being virtually liquidated by German supremacy on the battlefield. Though this is simply an even-ing of the line before the Moscow offensive, it still serves as an example of the weak disposition of Soviet forces. Forty German divisions are matched by roughly 30-35 heavily weakened, demoralized divisions. Already there are annoucements of the STAVKA command moving East to avoid bombing by the Luftwaffe.

It has been decided to transfer several ex-Soviet provinces along the Rumanian border. It has been sent as a personal gift of the Fuhrer and with a secret protocol pledging Rumanian support for Projekt Gotterdammerung.
