After the sad loss of our trusty cog AKA The Holy Armada, we take the swift decision to try out the latest in troop transports. A loan of 21 ducats will allow us to build a Flyte. Only snag is that it won’t be ready until the end of the year…
At least we are given some good news on the war front in July 1514. Kashmir has been agreed to a white peace. Sadly it does not lower the war score.
In Yemen the battle rages ferociously on. The Yemenites are attacking us like a tidal wave.
Our brave boys are slowly hacked to pieces. After over two moths of fighting we lose the battle of Indus and 33% of the men in our 5th army. In Jinan we are outnumbered almost 4 to 1 AND they have their ruler at the helm of the battle. To add to our woes, our new fleet won’t be ready for another 3-4 months.
More Woe for us. We loose the battle of Jinan on the 3rd of October and are forced to retreat to Quetta
Jinan falls after 33 days, but at least we manage to fight of the Infidel in Sistan. The 5th army swept the infidel away whilst marching towards Quetta.
The New Year does not only bring loads of fresh ducats (not really sure what is going on here but I seem to be able to tax my subjects beyond rim and reason) but also Prod tech 4
At the end of March our new Flyte is finally ready to deliver its first batch of fresh soldier. “We will be home by Christmas” Cries Thomas I as he rides into battle. We win. Glory to God!
The Yemenites won’t take this defeat lying down and attacks us with a massive army led by Muhammas II. Our fleet is collecting more troops from the homeland.
During the heroic battle Thomas I dies and we are now ruled by Johannes II. God help us.
