Why, a common strategy for human played Switzerland is, to rush the techs needed for Suez, and build the canal.
Either by getting GP and sphering Egypt, or by declaring war on them, while calling in a powerful ally to do the job (preferable TUR).
No, in vanilla AHD it's more of a mix between gold and piss. That's sadly the only way I can describe it.

That was a truly Great war. And yes, that's a terrifying AI Germany, I'm glad I chose to side with them.

This is from a long time ago. It's far from the strangest thing on the thread, but apparently everyone in Europe decided to rip random chunks out of each other. Toreiterate: German northern England and Normandy, Dutch Jylland, French southern Sweden and Spain eating half of Portugal. No hand in any of this, by the way. I'm Persia.
