It must have only a thin layer of gas over a solid core from a dense and strong material. If it was just gas it would've collapsed into a black hole.

Or maybe, just maybe, I'm overthinking this by a lot. :D
 
My presiding speaker decided to clone herself and also direct engineering research. Am I to assume a coup in the making?

I have this bug too: my scientist is leading research from his science ship :) kinda workaholic or maybe he can duplicate himself
There was a similar post where a single scientist lead all three science teams at the same time
