Hi all,
I figured I should make a suggestion post for something I've wanted for years, because there's a chance that other people might also want it, and it might get dev attention.

When I play, I like to be very heavy on internal politics roleplay, specifically regarding the rights of species. For instance, if I annex a pre-FTL world (through one way or another), I won't allow any of my primary species to settle it, reserving their homeworld for only them. Maybe I'm weird, but I think this kind of gameplay makes the game more fun. I also want other species in my empire to freely migrate around, just not to these "reserved" planets. Unfortunately, this is nearly impossible to do, and requires constant oversight to resettle away the "weeds" of other species who migrated to that planet. And if there's pop growth from immigration, "wrong" species can grow there indefinitely. I do similar things where I reserve entire other planets for species that are endangered elsewhere in the galaxy, etc etc.

This could be implemented by a simple dropdown box for each planet to disallow certain species from migrating there.
