Dear readers, welcome to the 2nd part of this AAR. For most it will be a whole new story, for the others the continuation of the short part I than was played in EU3.
As you probably know there is no EU3 to Victoria converters so I simply modded the original 1836 scenario to fit with what I have built in part I. I had made myself conversions rules than you can see in the begining of the first part.
This 2nd part will be played with the latest version of VIP than don't handle Revolutions. Yup, this won't be played with Rev., wich mean no capitalists building stuff at my place (notice to the persons than would give me the advice of converting pops to capitalists).
Also take in note than I will mostly do the gameplay part of this story, while Masked Pickle will do the historical background.
But enough of discussion, let me present the you the young and ambitious nation of Mexico.

(for a more complex description of the previous history, please see part I)
Mexico gained independence in 1818, 8 years after the begining of the war of independence. During the peace treaty with Spain, Mexico was granted the control of Florida and all the territories formerly included in the viceroyalty of New Spain, minus Cuba and the Phillipines. It expended into the northern territory of Oregon, and gained control over Hawaii and Tahiti (Tahiti was then lost in 1826 after a native uprising).
The Mexican nation, arranged into a constitutional monarchy, succeeded into keeping its territorial integrity even with the tensions in the provinces of Central America and the difficulties than apeared when the time came to handle the enclaved territory of Florida. However, in an effort to exploit its vast territories the Mexican government incitated English-speaking settlers to come and populate the region of Texas, wich is now in an open rebellion.
Territories claimed by Mexico, and rebellious Texas. The control over the northern territories by the central government is not yet very effective.
Augustin I Iturbide, Proclaimed Emperor of Mexico in 1820 and still ruling the country.
Various facts about Mexico
1836 Mexico is not a very advenced country; its low literacy is limitating technological advences and its population is mostly rural. Speaking of population, Mexico's one is not huge but its the 2nd in the Americas, not so far behind the USA. It is very mostly catholic. The industrial base of the country is small, but there is worse. Its army is the bigest in Latin America.

More to come later, this is just a presentation of the country.
