I believe there are two ways. Fuel refineries and sorghum harvesters.

I hope the unemployed get free gov't space pot then

We've been shipping them thousands of tons of recreational drugs. Notice that there has been no shortfall.

How do you make the fuel? By mined sorium or by fuel extractors?
We've been getting all of our fuel from Sorium Harvesting Stations, in the upper atmosphere of gas giants. Mined Sorium is being reserved for construction.

We currently have over one billion liters of refined fuel on hand.

Any suggestions on the name for our newest colony, Alpha Centauri B-III?

It orbits the brightest star in the constellation of the Centaur. Since mythology has supplied most of the names of the planets so far (Chiron, Achilles, Nergal, Mars, all four moons of Jupiter, etc) we could name it after a mythological centaur...

Mentor? Amphion? Nessus?

Nessus

I would normally use "the Nexus" for a star system with a dozen jump points.
Well, that is fair enough, but I would suggest retiring that name if we appoint a Nessus now.

I dunno. It doesn't seem like it could cause any issues with confusion. We could have a whole chain of them: Nexus, Nessus, Nidus, Nimbus, Nevus, Noesis. They could be quite numerous, even if they give our astrocartographers a neurosis.

Our first three high-speed Escorts (8000 kps, Gauss PD anti-missile armament) have been launched and are undergoing training.

The interstellar highway to 75 Ophiuchi (the star system containing that huge lode of Gallicite) is complete. Life-support infrastructure, mines and colonists are now en route.

Another deposit of nine million more 100% Gallicite.

I'm not sure that I've ever seen more than 8 or 9 in a system in C#, and that was in someone else's AAR to boot. Might be time to lower the requirements a bit.

At this point we may have more resources than we can possibly use in the next few centuries.

I can't help but wonder what our strategic goals are at this point. We've found the Hippies since some time ago, who were very clearly the starting NPR. At this point the only other opposition we could face would be NPRs generated in new systems, either normal NPRs or spoilers, and I would bet at this point that we comfortably outmatch anyone we run into between our technological parity and our doctrinal superiority. So I guess the question is what is left that we want to accomplish in this campaign?

Smashing the hipsters, taking everything they own, and populating it with humans.

In the grim blueness of the emu future, there is only war...

It will take us a while to build up to the point where we can conquer the Hippies. Mostly because ground units build so freaking slowly.

Need more ground unit construction facilities.

Time to turn Mars into the training center, like it should be. The GOD of WAR has no business having all those stock brokers and bankers. Time to move all that money stuff to Mercury where it belongs.
