Or it could just mean that there is no need to 'land' in North Africa at all. The People's Army can walk. Sure, they will have to conquer Turkey or Persia - or both - to do it, but since when has conquering someone been a problem? :)

As soon as war declared against Spain, people's army rushed into Barcelona, Huesca, and Bilbao. Barcelona was taken on February 18 1943. From Barcelona, people's army marched to Tarragona. On February 22 1943 people's army arrived in Huesca and Bilbao. Then people's army moved to Saragossa. Tarragona was occupied on February 26 1943 and people's army moved to Castellón. Saragossa itself was overtaken by people's army on February 28 1943.

On March 4 1943 people's army marched in Castellón. But on the next day Field Marshal Vlassov had died shot by Spanish guerilla in Castellón. On March 9 1943 Sigüenza was overtaken by people's army and from Sigüenza people's army was ready to enter Madrid. Two days later people's army took València and Guadalajara and at the same time people's army in Sigüenza began marching to Madrid. On March 16 1943 people's army entered Madrid after bloody battles with Spanish army. To secure Spain beaches from Allies troops people's army took Murcia on March 19 1943. On March 21 1943 people's army also took Albacete. And on the following day Peru joined Allies and declared war against Soviet Republic. On March 27 1943 people's army tried to secure Northern Spain by taking Burgos. Meanwhile Comrade Sergei Korolev had developed Improved Electronic Computers on March 29 1943 to fasten Soviet Republic researches.

Just a quick question - how much priority do/did you give to upgrading? i can see there being a bunch of artillery upgrades.
And if i recall correctly an upgrade to the militia.

Congrats on adding the Spanish Soviet Socialist Republic to The Big Red One.
:D

This is quite startlingly amazing! :D

Great work!

Yes, you're correct.
In 1943 when I got "Militia 1943" and more modern artillery, I go to upgrade as many units as possible so that I gave upgrading second priority after ships production.

Spain on April 1 1943

On April 1 1943 Spanish people thought they saw April Fools but they didn't. They really saw people's army entered Oviedo on that day and that's true, not lie. And by capturing Oviedo, people's army encircled Spanish army in La Coruña. On April 5 1943 people's army arrived in Valladolid, capturing Spanish industrial era. Jaén was secured on April 11 1943 and Badajoz and Almería on the next day so that Salamanca was encircled like La Coruña. On April 13 1943 people's army entered Salamanca and also on the same day Tupolev Design Bureau had developed Rocket Engine. On April 14 1943 in the East Asia, Yunnan, one of the area ruled by warlord joined Nationalist China in order to fight Japanese army. Spanish army in La Coruña surrendered when people's army arrived in that province on April 19 1943. But in the middle of the war, French people in Chaumont provoked by Swiss agent and revolted against Soviet Republic on April 22 1943. On April 24 1943 people's army conquered Huelva and closed access to Portugal from Spain. Two days later people's army reached Málaga and prepared themselves to assault English fort in Gibraltar. And finally people's army entered Seville on May 2 1943, one day after Labor Day giving tribute to communism another area. On that day Spain became another state of Soviet Republic. Meanwhile Comrade Stalin was moving people's army to destroy rebellion in Chaumont and to retaliate Swiss action and people's army was also moving to take Gibraltar from English.

On May 4 1943 in the middle of assault to Gibraltar, another American country, Bolivia, declared war against Comintern. Comrade Stalin was sure they were forced by USA. In the night of that day, rebel from Chaumont took control Troyes. On May 8 1943 Soviet Republic added 17 advanced destroyers to her navy and on the next day another one was added. On May 9 1943 people's army took Gibraltar from English and Canadian army and then close the strait from Allies ship. On May 10 1943 rebel who took Troyes attacked Compiègne but they were kicked back by a division of secret police. On May 15 1943 people's army secured Chaumont from rebellion and on May 21 1943 rebels were hang and Troyes was pacified. On May 24 Ceuta in North Africa was taken by English force under France control. And on May 27 Comrade Alexander Novikov had developed Escort Carrier Role Doctrine to make sure Soviet convoys could be guarded well. Meanwhile Allies airforce kept bombing people's army and Soviet Republic.

On June 1 1943 another African province Villa Sanjuro was lost to France. And on June 4 1943 Soviet Republic had nothing in North Africa when France took Melilla. On June 9 1943 France was moving to West Africa and took Ifni. Then France also took El Aaiún on June 18 1943. And finally Villa Cisneros was lost to France on June 26 1943. Those African provinces could fall to France because Comrade Stalin refused to deploy people's army in Africa. He wanted to destroy Switzerland and struck Allies from Afghanistan and Persia. For this purpose he also spared Portugal as long as they didn't help Allies and act suspiciously.

On July 3 1943 the last Soviet African province in African coast, Bata was lost to France. Meanwhile people's army were busy upgrading their weapons and moving to Switzerland, Afghanistan, and Persian borders. On August 18 1943 the preparation to invade Switzerland was complete. There were 36 divisions in Milan, 36 divisions in Trento, 36 divisions in Lech, 24 divisions in Friedrichshafen, 48 divisions in Freiburg, 36 divisions in Mullhouse, 36 divisions in Besancon, 60 divisions in Grenoble, and 48 divisions in Turin. Total there were 360 divisions grouped in 30 armies ready to invade Switzerland. On that day those hordes of people's army began to invade Switzerland from all Switzerland border. Comrade Stalin hoped Switzerland would fall quickly.
