What about Sud-German Reich, South German Reich,

That would be unique and accurate but since the nazis claim all of Germany and expect to 'liberate' it, it would not fit well if and when they defeat the communists.

maybe the small luxembourg also joins greater holland, it could be historcly the king of the netherlands ( belgium and hollan until 1830) was also grand duche of luxemburg.

I thought about adding LUX to the Dutch Union but IIRC there aren't many Dutch speakers there and for the sake of flavor I decided to keep it independent.

Edit: There will be a way for Luxemburg to willingly join the union through events. Probably if Communist Germany, France, or the union go to war.

Well, there is still a remnant of the 2nd Reich in Prussia,so I think Germania or Alldeutches Reich is the best solution.

That is a good point, I knew early on Third Reich wouldn't fit. It remains Germania at the moment, but Austro-German Reich may make a comeback in the future. Greater German Reich could fit, input?

Germania is short, to the point, nice-sounding & properly describes it's intent.

Stalin became a victim of the internal power struggles going on in the late 20's and early 30's. In August 1933 while returning to Moscow from Leningrad, a large bomb exploded on Stalin's train in an adjacent car. Several bodyguards died in the blast or were seriously injured. The bomb was meant to kill, but Stalin was outside of his room and away from the initial explosion. Doctors tried remove shrapnel lodged near the Soviet leader's vital organs. Stalin confidant Lazar Kaganovich was temporarily appointed as General Secretary. Out of control bleeding and irreversible organ damage led to Stalin's death two days later. The Stalin faction within the party was still strong and seized full control before any opposing entity could exploit the moment. After a brief period of political upheaval within the government, Lazar Kaganovich was named Stalin's successor. The path laid out for Soviet Russia by Stalin continues under Kaganovich for the most part, but since Stalin's death the RSSR has begun to court Communist Germany and entertain again the ideas of international communism and further revolution.

Italy (Incomplete)

Considering Mussolini's early rise to power in the real time line, he is now the next leader of Italy under Vittorio Emmanuele III. Italy has been changed from Social Conservative to Paternal Autocrat. In this time line the country did not establish fascism as quickly or to as great a degree as in reality. The King's overruling authority put a check on Mussolini's power and more oversight in the fascist experiment.

Greece is not happy about Macedonian independence and there is now no place within the time line that they enter an alliance with Italy. Same for Albania, though this may be possible in the future through events.

The plan for Italy: Mussolini fails in 1922 and tries again in 1926. This time a small scale gunfight breaks out in the capital. Mussolini is wounded along with several other conspirators, some of whom were killed. Mussolini among others are arrested and the government cracks down hard on supposed radical parties. The monarchy seems solidified in place for the time being. The National Fascist Party continues to operate underground, sometimes working within the black market and the mafia. Popular opinion is increasingly nationalist and to the right as the years pass, and Benito Mussolini is released from prison by the order of the King in October of 1930.

Mussolini was again the leader of the National Fascist Party. Italy seemed to be doing well at the moment as a constitutional monarchy. Popular support for the fascists dipped some in 1926-1931 but as the depression hit the economy hard there was a revived interest in radical socialist and nationalist ideas. In 1932 the King and his ministers lifted the restrictions on political parties. The Fascists steadily regained popularity and influence within government.

By 1935 the National Fascist Party held the majority support of an increasingly worrisome population. Vittorio Emmanuele III and Benito Mussolini met in Rome with a joint political committee. After an dire assessment of communist influence worldwide, the two right-wing leaders did not trust a system of democratic reform. Instead, an agreement was made where certain powers would be shared between Mussolini as Head of Government and the King with a lighter set of responsibilities and privileges--but still retaining significant involvement in political and foreign matters. In January 1936 the new Constitution of Italy and the dual leadership system is working well so far. It is up to the player to decide whether more radical fascist ideas are to be implemented as time goes on or will a nostalgia for the monarchy grow?

As you can see Finland has been given a significant portion of Karelia and may acquire more if the nationalists win the war. Siberia has been given to the nationalists. They have also made some gains in the Urals by 1936. Nationalist Russia's starting IC is now 78/66 (without + ministers) and the RSSR has 136/97 (with + ministers)

German Reich sounds better than Germania to me. Germania sounds kind of corny. German Reich sounds official.

Germania (Gehr-mawn-ea) has a history of use in multiple languages as a reference to Germany and German lands and it was even used by Hitler himself as the theoretical name of a rebuilt Berlin. There may be better choices, but I think it's appropriate for the moment.

I have grown comfortable with Germania, but why couldn't German Reich be used?

It was the official name of both the Imperial Germany and the Weimar Republic, and I suppose, that in this timeline, it is also the official name of the royalist german state in Prussia, I suppose.

Germania is of for name, either that or Groß Deutschland would fit

Guess you mean Großdeutschland? ;)

that map u used, can u give me a link 2 it?

Preußen Reich is what I had in mind for what the Prussian state would call themselves but Königreich Preußen could be used. The leaders of Prussia at this time are not very optimistic about the possibilities of control over all Germany again any time soon.
