Ive already said it,but you seem to have ignored it...Serbia was the one who wanted Yugoslavia,not Croatia.So i cant believe Croats would want a Yugoslavia on their own.Also,I should note that the commies weren't very popular here until WW2,when they liberated the country from the Nazi and fascist occupiers and collaborators.Ostheim said:

In this time line things begin to change as soon as WWI starts, so political movements and events that shape the attitudes of common people are different. Germany goes communist so there is more communist influence in central and southern Europe. A socialist regime in Croatia may not be 51%+ popular, but they have power for the moment. There will be events for dismantling the republic and freeing Croatia/Bosnia independently.

I think RSSR should be either RSFSR or USSR,as it does control Central Asia and Caucasus.

In story terms RSSR claims to allow certain republics to remain 'independent' with local puppet governments loyal to the Soviets. Autonomous regions or ASSR (Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). They are not represented as independent countries as they are poor and really dependent at the present time (1936) on Russia. These regions are more or less forced to fight with Russia and share economically in a sort of federation like the USSR but the soviet regime does not use this name. RSFSR became RSSR because of a change in the time line where the ideology of the Bolsheviks turns more to socialism in many countries united but not an international union. This goes along with the fact that there is another prominent communist power: most of Germany. After the German Civil War the Bolsheviks readily accepted the idea of a future alliance with Germany to bring socialism to all Europe.
In the mod I am trying to create many options for the human player and even AI to shape the world with events, releasable puppets, etc. There will be puppets both communist, democratic and so on.

On Russia:OK if they would release the certain countries in Caucasus or Central Asia,but they would still have large minorities,and there were about 20 ASSRs,that weren't territorially connected,and besides,if your not going to represent the ASSRs as independent,then I think it would be justified to have RSFSR instead of RSSR.Also,I dont see why would they need to give independence to the small and poor countries like Chechnya.
This IS ahistorical mod, but Finland could own Kandalsalka, Kem and Petrozavodsk. Finns made several military expeditions there in 1920's.
