Prologue
Communist supporters march in Moscow, 1905, calling for the ousting of the Tsar and his family, 2 months after Battle of Minsk and the defeat of Russian forces in Byelorussia by the German Empire.
General Miloslav's forces massacre communists on the streets of Moscow. The murder of communist men, women and children provokes mass revolts across Russia. Communists revolt in the industrial centers of Moscow, Novgorod, Kiev, Warsaw and Riga. The Russian Empire, once the ultimate industrial power in the World, now is the 8th. Much of its industry in Poland, Byelorussia and the Ukraine has been destroyed in fighting or looted by greedy oppurtunists.
Meanwhile, nationalists in the Baltic States, the Ukraine, Georgia, Poland and Slovakia rise up against battle weary Russian troops, effectively declaring the independence of most of these states. Ukrainian nationalists and fascists sweep across the Ukraine, scoring victory after victory. The Russian army retreats en masse from the Ukraine.
Ukrainian fascists take Kiev.
Tsar Nicholas II and his British counterpart.
Soviet troops attempt to restore order to Byelorussia, but are pushed back by Byelorussian partisans and troops sent by the newly declared fascist government. The Soviet Army retreats to Moscow, but Byelorussian, Ukrainian forces push deeper into Russia, creating a 'buffer zone' between the new states and Russia. Further North, Scandinavian troops infiltrate the border with Finland, defeating minimal Russian resistance. Scandinavian troops assault Helsinki and St. Petersburg (now renamed Leningrad) and manage to push Russian troops as far back as the borders of Novgorod. The Scandinavian government sends the Soviet Union an ultimatum, demanding all of Finland and Karelia.
The Western Soviet Union in 1910. Fascist rebels occupy parts of the country, but are on the brink of defeat.
