Werewolf Lite CDXXXIX: The Oregon Trail
The time: March 1, 1848. The place: Independence, Missouri, trailhead of the legendary Oregon Trail. You are 1 of 17 members of a wagon train bound for Oregon. 13 of you are excited to begin new lives in the Willamette Valley. But 4 of you, for your own selfish reasons, want this trip to fail.
Do you have what it takes to uncover the traitors in your midst and brave the perils of the Oregon Trail?
Characters:
12 bankers from Boston – You desperately want a new life in Oregon. Willamette Valley, here we come! Too bad you city slickers are ill-prepared for the dangers of the Oregon Trail.
4 carpenters from Ohio – You want to get back to your thriving carpentry business back in Ohio. You have some survival skills but would never survive 6 months on the Oregon Trail on your own.
1 farmer from Illinois – Used to the hazards of the prairie, through close observation you can tell which members of your party are manual laborers and are prepared for the hazards of the Oregon Trail – and which ones are not.
Rules:
There shall be seventeen (17) players. Special Roles will be handed out after the last person signs up.
The game will then proceed to a Night deadline.
The game is divided into two periods - night and day. For practical reasons these two periods take place at the same time, from one update till the next.
Each day, all players gather and decide to lynch one of the other players - the person they think is most likely to be a wolf. Each night, the wolves decide who to hunt. In each 24 hour period, the village will lynch during the day, and the wolves will hunt during the night. The village can try to lynch multiple people by creating a TIE, and the wolves can also decide not to hunt anyone at all at night.
The wolves win if they reach parity with the villagers. The village wins if they eliminate the wolves.
