I wandered upon this map while doing some research:

So the Phillipines had Chinese, hindu, muslim and shamanist kingdoms and states during the time of EU4. The hindu Tondo kingdom and Maguindanao sultanate being the largest. An area where Sunni-meets-Hindu-meets-Confucian-meets-shamanism with kingdoms for each would be very interesting and just a suggestion.

Wouldn' hope too much. I already wrote like 10 threads with faction suggestions, none was fruitful in any way. Mods can make use of your work tho.

Wangs, not Huangs. Wang is an equivalent of a king in Chinese. Huang is an emperor title (Huangdi is used for actual emperors, while Huang is reserved for some mythical ones, to be more specific).

Where did you read that? Seems inconsistent with the release of Mare Nostrum tomorrow that adds like 10 new nations in Africa, in addition to the nitran and icelandic tag as well as that new russian nation

What about uncolonised provinces?

IMO, there has to be a few uncolonised provinces in Indonesia. ROTW is really hard without some small colonial bases to have.

If you look at the date of my post you quoted (January 7th), it was well before Mare Nostrum, or even the DD where we first saw the African expansion. Johan obviously changed his mind on keeping the tag count down in the interim!

Also, good to see DDRJake taking notice. I'm hoping that Tondo at the least gets added (although a few others would definitely be nice!), and a Maguindanao spawning event gets added...
