Assuming that Miceli choose to be repatriated in the RSI by the British, or that at some point he defected from Italy to RSI.
You can also look into the officers who were involved in the failed Borghese coup.

But note that many officers that were involved in the plot had actually fought against RSI, for example:

So you have to assume that they defected at some point in order to join RSI.

The soldiers in the picture you posted are Italian volunteers from Tunisia, not related to RSI.
