This project is aimed at improving the portrayal of Italy. I tried to remove all the historical inaccuracies and improve the database with hundreds of real ministers and leaders. I added dozens of new events and a playable Democratic Italy, and fixed many bugs. The goal is to provide a much more immersive and historically accurate game experience with Italy in both WW1 and WW2.

events: tweaked the Italian Surrender event, plus many historical and a-historical events for all the countries above
ten audio files: eight historical Mussolini speeches (Balbo's flight, war on Ethiopia, declaration of the Empire, victory in Spain, annexation of Albania, racial laws, war on the Allies, war on Greece), the Italo Balbo speech in New York in 1933 and the 1943 Badoglio armistice announcement

I want to make my own mod with most accurate and really historical OOBs for all majors. So I would be glad to know the exact and detailed information about the Italy Land and Air Forces on 01.01.36, like I made it for the Red Army. (http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?711186-True-historical-Red-Army-on-01.01.1936)
If you have such accurate information (and may be any english-language links with it) I would like to use it in my mod.

The total number of all Italian aircraft on 01.01.1936 is the biggest mystery for me. I know that in real history Italian aircraft Forces on 01.01.1936 maybe was bigger then UK aircraft Forces. But how much and what types it was?? I can't find it.

And I have information that Italy on 01.01.1936 had 1 fully Light Tank brigade. No more, no less. Is it right?
You have to ask Guglie for that, he's in charge of compiling the OOBs. Anyway, it's my intention to release his 1936 OOB for Italy along with the leaders file.

By the way, added two more pictures on leaders and ministers for AOI.

Because the fact that in 1914 the first ship that you build is called "RN Littorio" totally ruins the atmosphere. Similarly, the land divisions that you build have 1939 names like "1a Divisione 'Superga'". The very same applies for Cold War-era Italy.

You're right but isn't this too much? And, btw you could put the WWI era names before the WWII ones... With the building times and the small italian IC in WWI you're not going to build loads of divisions, so just add a couple of names...

This would mean that in WW2 you build units with WW1 names. It's more complicated than it seems, and the only radical solution is using different tags (just like Germany, for example).

Actually, land divisions are called "na Divisione di Linea" in WW1 and "na Divisione 'name'" in WW2, so not even this solution will work. Same with ships: you shouldn't be able to build the "RN Francesco Caracciolo" in the '30s. The only way is having two different tags. I'm not saying I will do this (and probabily I won't), I'm just pointing out the solution. I've spent a lot of time on Mod1914 and I think that Italy is far better represented there. Have a try if you never played it.

As i know,Di-Savoia was died in british POW camp,why hes worked in goverment,or its pre-war postions?

Amedeo was Viceroy of Ethiopia from 1937 and died in 1942 after he was captured in May 1941 (so he's rightfully at his place!). Pietro Gazzera (PA) or Gugliemo Nasi (SC) will take his place if you release AOI (again) after 1941.

To the others: thanks you for your support! I had this project in my mind for a long time (when a thing has to be done, it must be done), and I hope it will be merged into one of those bigger mods out there.

That's not entirely true. There are a lot of players like myself who enjoy playing as the lesser nations. But I think region specific mods might be a better way to go. I thoroughly enjoyed playing the Yugoslav Improvement Mod, which also modifies all the other Balkan nations. The Commonwealth Mod is a lot of fun too. Both were incorporated into the All In One Mod.

Update: I made the 1914 scenario compatibile with the new leaders file, so you can play WW1 too with this mod, although I didn't change much (just some names and photos). I will edit the WW1 leaders after all other WW2 stuff is done, and my goal is to import the leaders file that I created for Mod1914.

Actually I don't know. I'm making a list of all the changes in each file so it's easy to make this mod compatibile with others.

By the way, I'm having problems with mobilization events for AOI, but I'm working on it.
