Sweden had grown with ease in the late hundred years. Subdueing its neighbours of Denmark and Norway. The Glorious nation of the North looked eagerly to bring out the russians out of Scandinavia...and to same the Protestantic Germans from the filthy Catholic grasp of the Holy Roman Empire, one of the worlds mightiest nations, a land forced equal to those of the hordes of the east but with equipment of the old Feudal states in Europe.
Gustavus Adolphus...the new King of Sweden had the old war on England to handle which his predecessor left him.
The Nation of Sweden consisted of almost all of Scandinavia, Holestein as an Vassal and vassalage. Prussia, Teutonic Order and Wurthemburg as Allies to the grand alliance of the North
The King was a formidable leader, both off and on the battlefield. Sweden had a decently large army with godo equipment. The only thing the nation lacked was a formidable navy.
Since of the Throne was taken over and the Colonizing Englishmen together with Bremen or what simular foolish germanic "tribe" That joined em was a nail in the eye Gustavus II Adolphus, or a he was known in Sweden Gustav II Adolf, sent of a small task force to North America. a Conquestador! To occupy English towns and trade outposts of the Northern America.
At the same time Evert Horn was ordered to make a joint attack on English Flandern, a important trade town for the English that didn't occupy enough on main Europe to prove to be a larger threat. The war had only just begun, but the months went by and the English which seemed to only burn down Swedish trade out posts and hunt down Swedish vessels on the sea's saw themself managing to stop the small task force from Sweden in their colonial lands but Evert Horns occupation and sacking of the town was to much and 200 ducats was offered in a peace treaty.
this gave the King a chance to look at other foes...While his other officers was busy in other parts he himself had plotted out something...
The Russian Orthodox had been in The Scandinavian main land for to long, The protestant faith had to be thought back to the old people of Scandinavia, either by their own will or an axe....with luck they had not changed their view upon god and his faithfuls.
Although...Russia had some powerful allies. Austria, The Central power of Europe! Genoa...a larger trading power that had captured Mecklemburg! And Licester...or how It now was spelled...A nation the Swedish council and its King barely knew exsisted.

Austria got land tech 16 and Russia got land tech 12

.The Invasion of Russia begun, the plan was to trick them Into Swedish soil and fight them there with lower supply of food, ammunations and simular needed things. Like hairy russian dancers from the plains. Where among the favorite jokes of the Swedish soldiers.
The battle plans although changed hastly and the Swedish king himself charged at Savolaks! Vi ska fria finnarna! He yelled, Free the fins! They would not be under russian superiority anymore, the Russians was only superior in number. They lacked in all else. Barely had a formidable navy nor weaponry.
A bigger problem would the Genoese in Mecklemburg prove to be. They heald of against a large Swedish army. Stalling the siege of the glorious merchant town.
Jävla Helvete! The General yelled at his men, Damn hell! Four times! Almost five times the size and the Genoese almost route the Swedish army. This was seen as a large failure even If they did turned the tide in the end. But for now the Genoese fortress layed open still to get supplies from its Southern neighbours and allies. Hannover was also belonging to Genoa which was only a bit south,southwest of Mecklemburg (I think)

The Swedish war machine under Gustav II Adolf was as victorious as ever, The Russian hordes could do nothing. Unorganized, pathetic and badly equipped they tossed themselves in front of Swedish Infantry and finish Hekka Pelita
The Russians was pushed back, Into their "womb" in main Land Russia. The Swedish army was having Its largest victory in year over the Insignificant Russians. It was as If they had kept the tactics of their old Mongolian Masters in the Golden Horde. Against the Swedish well organized troops the Russian's chaos in formation and low morale did not help them.
A often seen sight was also this
Small russian regiments trying to fight off or stall the Swedish King, It was like a fly had landed on your shoulder and you dusted It off.
But they all knew a Invasion of main Russia would be a nightmare. The Russians wasn't known to fight honestly, burning down all villages and abunding all in their way If a large horde was heading towards them and was victorious. The Swedish hate for the Russians was.....withotu any suprise! Enormous.
Although the Swede-Russian war went succesfully as of yet the war in Northern Europe looked a bit more...chaotic for the Swedish sight.
