aw hell... the fuck I'm not! 90,000 words (and more coming) for my nearly (
nope) finished AAR in HoI3 belies that and I'm not going to lie to you fine people! So here goes.
I apologize for not getting to this sooner; I was at the beach yesterday (hooray family) and away from a computer to do this properly. Today was full of driving, of waiting an hour for a bloody haircut, buying food and oh yeah a therapist appointment. Tomorrow will be a range day before I spend two days in more training. I appreciate all that you've put up with here, and I very sincerely thank you all for both reading my trash and thinking so highly of me. It's lovely.
For my part, I've mainly been following the HoI3 boards. I forage into the others when awards time comes around because I want to make sure that a) I have a close-to-full ballot and b) to get those writers the attention their works deserve! My main reading list is thus:
Civis Romanus Sum (An EU-Rome Vae Victis AAR) by

HBO's Rome. Though I doubt Pullo would be quite as excited to march across the Rubicon these days... and somehow a computer is forced to play EU:Rome, somehow.

inshallah. I don't know much about Yugoslavia (aside from the fact that they were the only ones to OTL drive out the Germans alone, and that the US... smacked Serbia more than one, more than once).

The Butterfly Effect: A British AAR, by
@El Pip in the HoI2 subsection of HoI3. I remember reading (a very long time ago) the first few pages, then putting this
absolute unit of an AAR down for, oh, maybe like a bit more than
seven years and have long since caught and keep up. A master stroke of what
actually drives the Empire... tanks, aircraft carriers, plane engines and enough industrial detail to make one question if they are not in a graduate-level economics lecture.
If one must ask what I'm following on the HoI3 board... well, there isn't anything that I'm not following there.
