So, I am playing Stellaris strictly in the Boulle 1.9.1, because I find that the most enjoyable version. And I am wondering if the post-Boulle DLCs will also add to my game. Does anyone know? Particularly interested in Distant Stars and Origins.

In general I think they do not, but it won't break your computer to try it.

Might force you to re-install the game, but that won't break the computer itself. Try it and report back!

Aside from the music, the DLC is almost entirely baked into the game files, so there isn't really anything OP can try.
The older versions of the game simply don't have the DLC-Features in their code, and thus cannot be loaded.

Some features, such as Events (with changes to fit the syntax and features available in the older version), could theoretically be backported, but it'd be a lot of manual work, and since that would mean making it available to everybody whether they have the dlc or not (since older version don't have the validity-checks for the newer dlcs), it's something that essentially cannot be made publicly available.
