Hello everyone!

Our latest Open Beta is now Live, see patch notes below. It includes the upcoming merger of Waking the Tiger, Death or Dishonor and Together for Victory into base game. You will still see them in your launcher but deactivating them will have no effect.
Remember this branch is a work-in-progress that has yet to go through our full release QA process, so while we try to keep relatively stable you may experience new issues or crashes. The beta is available under "open_beta" on steam :)

Feel free to leave your feedback in this thread or in the bug report forum as usual, especially if you encounter new issues not present in 1.14.3, or if something marked as fixed in the below changelog still occurs for you.

Still no fix for Mapuche Chile being unable to core all of Argentina? Either allow us to release a puppet native Argentina so we can core them later with "Unified by Will" focus or directly let us core all of Argentina after conquering them with the focus "Recover Puelmapu"

They said that's worked as intended. Maybe this is more of a suggestion instead of an actual bug

Can we expect that some of the Paraguayan/Uruguayan icons for National Foci and National Spirits will be replaced with more appropriate ones? I am not talking about creating new icons, rather about using the existing ones. There is a huge amount of good "neutral" and generic icons in the game, and it is strange to see Ethiopian symbols and Confederacy flags used as icons for Paraguay and Uruguay.

Argentina gets nerfed, why?

It is the weakest from the 3 main South American nations that got a focus tree and they can't get a 5th research slot!
If you look at the modifiers being nerfed, and how powerful they were if stacked, you can probably see why.

I was wondering that can that German AI strategy be configured that it only sends troops to Southern/Central Africa only if itself, ally or subject owned the Suez canal? Similar strategy for Italy AI when warring with the Allies since that there is new AI strategy for Italy AI not to join the war until historical date or France capitulated.

Germany historically has sent troops to (North) Africa without having Suez at their disposal.

Only to North Africa when the Mediterranean was largely (not totally) controlled by the Italian fleet and Italian and German air cover.
The problem is currently the German AI sends hundreds of thousands of troops to East and Central Africa via the Atlantic when they have zero chance of getting to their destination due to the Royal Navy having near total superiority along the entire route.

Historically, the supply routes to Rommel were attacked quite heavily but of course a lot did get through. The British also had their problems supplying Malta, the story of the SS Ohio (a fuel tanker) and Operation Pedestal is a remarkable one, worth looking up if you're interested in such things. She ended up getting the fuel to Malta only by being strapped to two destroyers so stop her from sinking. Vital at the time.

Some more sophisticated naval AI strategies might handle this, blocking Atlantic convoy transport when the enemy sea power is considerably stronger. Should apply to Britain as well in case they lose most of the RN, they should rather concentrate on home defense with whatever they got than wasting troops at the seas or in the colonies.

The code is already in place for naval superiority checks. You could use the same code that checks if a naval invasion is allowable along the convoy route, and only allow the transfer of troops if over 50% superiority (or whatever number is deemed appropriate).

I dunno if escort groups add superiority or not but something like that, yes.

IRL Germany also used air transports for troops, equipment and supplies over the Mediterranean, not just ships.

Developers, please give us transport planes capable of transporting troops between airfields, not just paradropping. That was done in WW2, it's historical and it should be possible in game. There should be limit of what can be carried. IRL besides men, also artillery, aa guns, at gun, and light tanks and tank destroyers were carried by air to Africa and on the Eastern Front.

USS Wasp (CV-7, similar to USS Ranger CV-4) if I remember correctly, ran a couple deckloads (~50 each time) of Spitfires to Malta, as well, in the bad days.
