What about the Quechua kingdoms in South America? : Huancas , Quito , Chanca , Chincha , Aimaras ..?
Magna ,undi had them , there isnt a shortage of TAGS .Why not include them?

I wasn't aware of an event that allows the Aztec Empire to change tech group? I thought i could only be affected by the global religious events for the Americas...

The Aztecs have event 121011. If they survive until 1600 and conquer the area of nowaday Mexico they gain a better techgroup (still worse than the europeans!) and claims on the whole of Middle America including Panama.
