I wish to express that Signor Amat is too democratic, and Signor Karlomax is too lazy to run this government. Look at his decrees when he was in the government and you will understand why I believe that. In reality, neither should become PM.

Are not Signor Amat's immense experience and the obvious esteem and legitimacy with which he would bestow upon our government worth considering?

"Don Amedeo Cesare Amat di Soleminis smiles*

it is interesting that I am called a democrat now after being branded an extreme conservative for most of my life, while I have always supported one thing - a strong national state, which is ruled by His Majesty in according with the Principle of the Divine Right of the Kings, definite fundamental laws and for the good of the people, where quality is put above quantity and merits above partisanship. I do believe that сertain elected and representative institutions should exist (while consisting only of the persons loyal to the Throne) - but that they should assist the Crown, not tell it whom to put in charge.

But, actually, good sirs, since we are all (I hope) good royalists, loyal subjects of the House of Savoy and Italian patriots here, matters of our private views are not so important here - since we, frankly, do not have a country to manage now. When we pick the Prime Minister, we should decide on the following - who would be able to lead the national resistance to the Communist rule in the best way? Who would give it legitimacy,? Who would be able to become the best messenger of our Government to the world leaders? Who would be able to communicate with the House of Savoy in the best way?

This is the main questions we need to ponder.

I will ask you to retract that statement signor Fabron as I am not lazy I just had other things to attend too. And look at me. Do I look young too your eyes? If I do, go to your nearest doctor and get them checked. I have longer than I can remember, fought for conservatism, whilst you, an upstart rambling politician runs about shouting nonsense.

((Apologies, I had miscounted you as an Amat vote. The total still stands at 4-4))

((Doesn't that mean Karlomarx won, or is the GiE incapable of even running a vote amongst themselves))

Comrade Amelia Camilleri gives an oration at the funeral of one of the bombing victims.

"Comrades, we are met today to say farewell to Maria, and to comfort her parents in their hour of distress. Because that is what we, as Communists, do, to support one another, to act as a unified people so that an attack on one is an attack on all, the oppression of one is the oppression of all, the tears of one are the tears of us all.

Young Maria was so full of life and potential. At 12, she had the world before to explore, growing up in a new generation of emancipated womanhood. We mourn the brutal loss of all that Maria could have been but celebrate all that she was.

And in her death, she shone as the brightest of red stars. She symbolised all the hope and vitality the Republic has become. The cowardly attack of the Balboist terrorists show their disdain for life and the happiness of the proletariat, by cutting down our most beautiful flower and then skulking off to revel in their bloody deeds. These monsters believe only in chaos and fear, whereas the true hearted Maria sought solidarity and progress. With her dying words she affirmed her commitment to the Cause - "May the Proletariat and its Party triumph over the evil capitalists and Balboists."

And now we say farewell, with Maria's words fortifying us to continue the struggle, to hunt down the children killing fiends and to avenge a beautiful life so cruelly taken. Farewell Maria, farewell Child of the Revolution."

Gentlemen, please refrain from disrupting the unity of this government.

I see that communists principles have already begun to spread, for churlish young men feel they have the right to insult senior statesmen.

((Maybe you should form a GiE from the GiE))

Comrades

We have seen Balboists cut down unarmed men, women and children because they dared to exercise their democratic right to support the Communist Party.

We can only hold the perpetrators in the deepest contempt, cowards who murder peaceful people. These traitors to the Republic must be hunted down and brought to justice before the People's Court where the Court can exact the just wrath of the Proletariat upon the wretches.

But more heinous villains walk abroad, the Balboists who issued the orders and provided the tainted coin to buy the black hearts of these assassins. The sympathisers living in foreign lands plot every day the downfall of the Republic and the enslavement of its people. The workers must be on the guard at all times for the agents of these class enemies. We call them foes of Humanity, enemies of the State to be held accountable for the crimes which they commissioned. As the Guardian of the Republic, the Central Committee devotes itself to protect the people and liquidate these White maggots.

Long live the Republic! Long live the Proletariat! Long live the Party!

I do not trust the government. It is too firm in the belief of conservative ideology. Perhaps we should adopt a more nationalist approach. I propose we adopt the beliefs of my mentor Benito Bello, his Third Way.

After multiple headaches from the severe lack of realism in the Central Committee, and a refusal to even consider a unified reorganization of Italy and instead pursue a dictatorship with sham elections to justify their ideas. After the realization that none of the members of the Central Committee (save the General Secretary himself) seem interested in creating a concrete plan that will have a lasting effect and then transition into democracy with free election instead of hopelessly holding onto power. After the realization that the Central Committee is full of people very much like those who ran POI in 1886 (which turned out awfully one might say). Mind you I was one of the minds behind the 1884 Revolution, one of the ones working with the likes of reasonable people such as Muti and Cordero. Mind you that I had power taken away from me in 1886, taken away by socialists, none of which actually worked with Muti or Cordero in the 1884 Revolution but instead hijacked the revolution by trying to propose their own constitution. The man who specifically comes to mind is Nathaniel Fabron, a man who proposed his own constitution despite the fact he had been twiddling his thumbs in France while Muti and Cordero and I were sticking our heads out for freedom. Fabron snatched power away from us in 1886 and increased corporate taxes by 20%, 20! This was so unbearable that another hijacker of the Revolution, di Antico, nationalized all the factories while lacking the force necessary to prevent the lockout that followed. And so we plunged into anarchy, all because several idealists decided to hijack the Revolution. And now Muti and Cordero's names are stained as the ones who set the stage for anarchy. Muti was killed by the regime created as a result of the hijacker's actions. Mind you Signore Mopurgo was the only one who was on the frontlines and in the socialist government, I have much respect for the Mopurgo family, and tried to get him to make the government's actions reasonable but it was too late. All because several people decided to reap the fruits of revolution without planting the seed of dissent.

And now, we are in a very similar situation. I risked my life starting a march onto Rome out in the open. I risked my life infiltrating the regimes of Balbo and Alliata so that Italians may enjoy prosperity. Signore Pedrotti risked his life and he was shot for it. But now these "revolutionaries", unknowns who have spent the last twenty years working tirelessly for a return to prosperity and democracy. They did not even participate fully in the revolution, I never heard their names. Only Pietro and Mopurgo have been on the frontlines but they only reach back to 1900. I have fighting for twenty years. I organized an underground resistance that overthrew Alliata from within, and we hoped Balbo would follow through after we gave him our support but instead he betrayed us and shot Pedrotti. So I gave up infiltration and started the march. The march soon spread and grew into a revolution.

How was I rewarded for my bravery? With one of the most insulting positions in the Central Committee- People's Commissar for Education, Information, and Ideology. Don't patronize me, this is not what you give to the man who planted the seeds of dissent. The man who began the revolution while the other Central Committee members were still learning to tie their shoes. While the other members were shitting their own pants. It is an insult in the highest degree! Who do you think you are? I am one of the greatest revolutionaries in Italian history. I have fought in all three major Revolutions: 1864, 1884, and now 1906. Even more insulting is that none of the Central Committee will even look at my proposal, which has received praise from all corners of the political spectrum, instead wanting to "have fun while we can."

If I have learned one thing in my life it is this- Never trust anyone with power. They always abuse. Everyone is just out for themselves and are prepared to hijack your work, your blood, your sweat, your toil, your tears. Frankly, I do not want the Central Committee to enjoy this. Therefore I am resigning from the Central Committee, effective immediately. I will leave Italy and reside in England for the time being, until sanity can be restored.

Ministry of Education, Information and Ideology

The ministry has notified the universities and research centers of Italy about the desired fields of research. A focus was given to military technologies in order to defend the revolution from enemies from outside and from inside. However, we also value education and will look to improve pedagogic techniques.
