Good luck ! No worries

It would take a heart of stone not to be moved with an urge to comment on the beauty of that last turn.

But in comparison with the British army in Belgium being supported by France and Germany, are they equally beautiful, or is this more masterful? :p

Obviously it is the Russian move, imo.

I'm not sure what's so "masterful" about our moves this turn. They seem consistent with Germany becoming concerned about Austria, and forming an alliance with Russia. For obvious reasons, the Italians were hoping for the Austrians to be taken down a peg as well. Not sure how this move set is particularly surprising to anybody but maybe the Austrian player.

It's maybe not particularly "masterful" as far as tactics go (fairly simple common sense, tbh; you don't get too many opportunities like that in this game), but to us in Italy it's like when you're reading The Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit for the first time, and the orcs seem to be slowly overwhelming the good peoples of Middle-Earth, and then all of a sudden, just when all seems hopeless - "The Eagles are coming!" It is truly beautiful and glorious.

go Austria go! this is just a setback

It's a shame I can't get all of you to lose (besides Britain). Germany actually can win and hasn't betrayed me multiple times, so guess I'm forced to work towards a German victory.

it amuses me greatly to see you of all people talk of betrayal as if it's something that offends you.

I accept that I am a larger threat than Germany is to you now so I accept to be your target, but if you succeed and drive me back, it will be unreasonable of you to continue attacking me if anyone else is in a position to win. Make it Italy, make it England or Germany, it will be unresonable. I'm not the one who should tell you how to play, and you are free to choose the way you play but let me give you an advice. I think that you could play the game in a better way if you analyzed what people wants to achieve, how those align with you, and how you can profit from those combined interests without risking too much. Germany has done everything he could to harm me, yet I am allied with him. Don't trust people, trust their interests. You have put too much faith in me but you didn't realize that I wouldn't gain much by further cooperation and it was better for me to attack you. Your decision to support me was right, but your decision to leave your back open was what made you lose so much. I know that you kinda had to, but that was also your fault, because you were fighting with both Italy and Germany at the same time. You had to rely on me to not to attack you and you pushed Italy too hard that you should have which made you have to leave your rear open.

But in the future my interests may align with you again, and you should cooperate when that time comes while watching your back by thinking what my interests are.

I stabbed you knowing that you could act unreasonably and make both of us lose the game for nothing, but you would stab me anyways like you did to Italy and like how you didn't support me against Turkey after you were saved from the threat even though we agreed that this would happen. I am not accusing you of this, your stab was reasonable and made you gain so much. But isn't it fair for me to do the same? Why shouldn't I wreak havoc on you because you betrayed us, and only you should? I had concerns that you would betray me after Germany is taken, the clock for Italy was ticking so I wouldn't have an ally there when that occurs and I had a chance to win 2 centers. Why wouldn't I betray you?

So....this all seems very chaotic. And dead france as usual. Interesting to see Russia survived. I do like funny Iberia too.
