I would like to point out that these rebels are still our people. They are our factory workers, our farmers, our academics, and our citizens in general. We in the Frente Nacional have done so much for Chile: we have expanded, industrialized, grown national pride, and increased stability to levels unheard of in the 3rd Republic. Truly our reign has been a glorious one, yet let us not forget the liberales. True, Chile needs a strong centralized... I would even say authoritarian... government, but let us at least give some voice to the moderates who currently agitate against our government.
There are three types of rebels in this nation mi amigos but today I shall talk of the Communistas...
1. El Rojos Nuevos- The communists and socialists are bloodthirsty and immoral savages that seek to overturn our government, plunge Chile into turmoil, and install themselves as authoritarian dictators. These rebels are organized and, honestly, no laughing matter. They are led by insane men whose rhetoric feeds off the debunked texts of the infamous Armando Renin, Karl Marx, and that rebellious Finn (It began with an H...?). Their preposterous rhetoric falls on the willing ears of factory workers. They will destroy everything Chile holds dear if they take power by coup. We must stop at nothing to utterly destroy them!
---Caitan Crazzio---
I never said they weren't people. But we can't allow ourselves to be pushed around by men who have no gods or rules. They are led by anarchists like Mantiago, or radical communists. They might be Chileans, but they pledge their alliegance not to our great nation, but to the nation-less communists.
And yes, we have imposed restrictions. We have enacted curfews and cracked down on terrorist cells. But let's not forget these men are terrorists. They were armed insurgents even before this government came to be. It's true we don't listen to their cries! But it's with a good reason: They do not seek a consensus, instead they only want to seize power. It became evident with Rios' and Haakalenin's attempt at seizeing the capital. They do not want to get heard, they actually avoided us when we were hearing their cries, but instead they want to silence everyone else. We had a tough choice, and I took the initative: we had to quiet down their voices before they silenced everyone else. We banned the FNT and the communistas, so that the communistas didn't ban everyone else (even the FNT, who supported them). We arrived just in time, we retook the capital when the president had fled the country and all hope had been lost. So I don't want to hear them. They are just selfish plotters who only want to replace us.
Like I said, we banned the communists. But I didn't ban the republicanos and the patriotas. While many of the new fascists and the new politicians of the openly fascist Frente Nacional want to ban the patriotas and the republicanos, or politely "merge" them into non-existance, I instead vouch for a multi-party system. I will hopefully restore democracy one day when the storm is calm and Chile is safe, and for that to be even possible we need to keep our parties in existance, even if under Saez they were only ceremonial parties and the executive council took all the necesary measures. Even if it seems paradoxical that the founder of the fascist republic and the fascist party is not a fascist, it is true. I am a reactionary and I have always been. I was an archbishop, a patriota and a supporter of Crown Prince Roseno though I was hesistant to show my colours at the time (because as a leader I could not take sides in that conflict, it would have divided the party).
We have, for the first time in many years, stability and unity. And while we are united, we do not all think the same. We are not all fascists! There are also many liberals, conservatives and reactionaries in the high level ministerial offices and the high party seats. Let us not generalize things.
To end my speech, I would like to remind you señor Caitan, I will always vouch for the people. I will make sure Chile returns to democracy one day! And you will be there to see it, in it's full glory.
Chile para los Chilenos! Not for the nationless communists.
